True confessions, I had to look at a video to figure out how to use these. Once I did, it was pretty straightforward. I got them because I've been doing some acrylic paint for and was wondering how to frame the canvases. He's have a variety of debts at 1/8 1/4 and 1/2 in, but I still found that they didn't work in every circumstance. There are some other sets out there that give you a flat or a 3/8 in which might provide additional flexibility if you think you're going to need that. It's hard to know what size you would need in advance so this kit is very helpful. It includes the screws and you only need to screw it into the back of the canvas stretcher. They don't really carry a heavy load unless you have a large canvas, so the included screws are sufficient. I found a pH2 driver head worked well in my battery powered screwdriver to drive them without pilot holes.I like the plastic box, but it did take a little bit of effort to pick through them to find the right depth that I was looking for. Once you get them, you may want to separate them into a box with dividers.Good value if you anticipate framing a number of canvases.

This is a good option for offset clips for the price, however the fasteners are underwhelming.Clips: If you consider these price of these versus roughly $2-3 for a single clip at the big box stores, this is a great deal. The clips come in 3 different sizes depending on your project. They are quite versatile as well. Uses may include canvas framing, securing mirrors inside of frames, picture framing or even my intended use as “Z clips” for securing tops to cabinets/tables. These work great for that as well. Cut a biscuit relief in the apron, slip the smooth side of the applicable clip into the biscuit and secure these clips into the top via the hole. Will provide a little room for seasonal expansion of wood while keeping the top secure.Fasteners: again, these are a bit underwhelming. The metal is an extremely mild metal and very try susceptible to striping or snapping the head off. If you are using an incredibly soft wood like basswood or balsa they will be fine. Possibly even some pine/poplar. But anything more dense and you will want to use a higher quality fastener. Also the slots are a bit odd. Some a P2 worked fine, others required a P1 but the fit never felt ideal.That being said still an easy 4 star product for the amount of clips for the price.

I recently purchased the 120Pcs Offset Canvas Clips set, which includes 40 pieces each of 1/2", 1/4", and 1/8" sizes, along with 120 screws. I have to say, this set has been incredibly handy for my picture framing projects. A hand kit for mounting painting in picture frames. This kit has everything I needed to mount oil paintings of various thickness in both store bought or home made oil painting frames. The kit accommodates both thick or thin canvases and it came with the screws which is handy. My wife is an oil painting hobbyist so I am installing the canvases in nice picture frames. I was pleased to find this kit because some frames have a shallow reliefs in the back which required thicker clips to mount even a 1/2” canvas. This kit had exactly what I needed fit perfectly. I found this kit very handy and I highly do recommend it especially if you are the person who’s job is to mount paint canvases in picture frames.

Ordered this set as needed clips to secure a piece of mirror in a frame. Includes 120 pieces (40 zinc-plated pieces each of 1/2", 1/4", 1/8" plus screws). Comes in a flat plastic container to hold everything. Had a large wooden frame that matched bedroom furniture and no longer liked the picture. Had a mirror that we no longer liked the frame on and cut it (successfully) to fit the frame we wanted to use. These clips helped secure the mirror to the frame, had to bend clips a little to work, not an issue with the clip but with the backside of the frame. Worked out well. Can see multiple uses with these clips as we are always changing decorative pictures from one type of frame to another. Glad to have this set on hand and that it offers multiple size options.

As a collector of vintage amateur paintings I find that the fasteners are often rusty, loose, inadequate. I enjoy rebuilding them in the most professional way that I can manage. Specific hardware like the ZIUZI 120Pcs (40 Pcs Each of 1/2", 1/4", 1/8") Offset brackets makes the work enjoyable, it gives me a feeling of achievement to make my favorite paintings more secure and to show that someone valued them enough to be a good steward.The stays were easy to install once I found the exact screwdriver size needed to install the too-soft screws without stripping them.At ~$16 for the kit this was a bargain compared to buying bagged hardware at the big box store.
