Classic Gooseneck Barn Light

I have been remodeling my house the past few months which includes replacing my exterior lights. When looking up metal outdoor lights online, many of them were too modern looking and some had swirly metal lines that didn’t match the exterior look of my house. I have always preferred outdoor lights that have a more classic, vintage look. So when I saw this wall light with the classic gooseneck arm design, I knew it would be perfect to hang above the door of my shed.The light arrived in professional packaging with each part wrapped in insulation. I took pictures so you could see. When I took the light out of the box, I was very happy with the way it felt. The metal has a nice solid feel and weight to it. It does not feel cheap or flimsy at all. The matte black finish also looks great. Sometimes black finishes can be too shiny and look like plastic, but this one has a premium, brushed metallic texture.Even before I installed the light, it looked and felt much more expensive than its current list price. And after I set it up above my shed, it looked even better than I expected. First, I love its size which is very substantial. The diameter of the lamp shade alone is almost a foot wide and it extends about a foot and a half from the wall. And the shape of the shade and the curved arm give it that classic industrial, barn-style look which is exactly what I was looking for.This light fixture completely changed the appearance of my shed. The metal feels durable and it has a good weight to it; the black matte finish looks great; and the overall design has that classic industrial, barn-style look. I am very happy with how it looks on my shed.
