This table bracket kit was selected for two reasons: ease of construction and strength against racking. The units create a butt joint along the horizontal plane, and the unit is supported by 4 screws in the corner in the vertical plane. The size of the corner piece should offer good support to a tabletop. The pieces are coated steel, are smooth, and the support screw holes are pre-drilled. Four in the vertical and two on each side of the horizontal butt joints. The vertical has the top open to fasten to the tabletop. The unit comes with screws. The units are welded along the seams. After placing a cut 2x4, there is a little space in the horizontal and a little more in the vertical. The screws should eliminate any wobble, but precut shims should eliminate the space if you are concerned.Add-on uses: rolling storage bins, raised garden bed frame, greenhouse bench, animal shelter frame, and gear storage locker.Opinion: This should make construction quicker with an increase in strength.
