Works great in the Arizona rains

Amazing. Just as advertised. Buy it.
This replaced the rain deflector on my roof which was nailed through the shingles. It is almost unnoticeable, is attached to the fascia board over the steps leading up to my porch. It keeps the water dripping off of the roof from soaking you as you enter the porch. This was the perfect solution to this problem.

The Prismique rain drip guard looks good and works well to minimize the drips above the doorway.I ordered this because I recently had my roof and siding replaced on a shed and the contractor had a J-channel seam that stopped directly above the main door, so anytime it rained the rain would drip right into the walking path. While I think the rain guard would have worked well to divert that issue, the first time it rained after installation was a driving rain right onto that wall, so the rain ran down the wall behind the guard and still dripped onto my head. Because of that I ended up re-installing mine with a strip of butyl tape as a gasket between the guard and the wall and it works MUCH better!Installation is simple - just mark the holes, pre-drill in those locations (mine was being installed in acinder block wall), press in the wall inserts, line up the guard, and thread in the screws. As I said, placing a gasket of sorts would be recommended. I used butyl tape because I had some on hand, but you could use a silicone caulk, too. I absolutely would recommend using some kind of gasket when installing, though. The aluminum construction is lightweight, but the thickness is such that it is quite durable. I'm sure the slight curve of the guard helps with the strength of it. It also looks really nice.
Very easy to install and does what it is designed for.

Sent these back because it’s just not enough of a lip to do much.

Absolutely was what I ordered. Loved the color. Easy to install. Took maybe 5 minutes to level apply sealer and screw in.

If you are dealing with water pouring down your entryway or over an exposed window or like us where it drips directly in front of the door and starts rotting it away..., building a full awning or permanent overhang can be a costly, time-consuming project. Or hard when your house is covered in siding. This 40" x 4" rain guard is a highly effective, low-profile alternative that solves the problem in minutes. If you have a modern smart lock with a keypad, RFID card reader, or a fingerprint scanner, you already know the frustration of rain. Or, having a wooden door that gets water all over the bottom when it even slightly sprinkles. This guard acts as a precise, mini-awning directly over the door, deflecting the sheets of water running down the siding so your entryway stays dry.Beyond doorways, this 40-inch span fits perfectly over standard windows. It forces heavy rainfall away from the top seam, which is a major win for preventing water from pooling on the frame and developing slow, costly leaks over time. As a bonus, it keeps the glass cleaner by stopping dirt-streaked rainwater from sheeting down the window.Installation Tips:Fast Setup: It is incredibly straightforward to mount. Grab a level, drill some quick pilot holes, and drive the screws in. You can have it up and operational in no time.Pro Tip for a Perfect Seal: While the physical guard blocks the bulk of the water, running a quick bead of outdoor silicone sealant along the top connecting edge ensures a completely watertight seal against your siding. The Verdict:It looks clean, has a minimal footprint, and delivers instant protection for your entryway or window frames without the hassle of a major construction project. If you're tired of fighting with a wet smart lock or worrying about window frame leaks, this is a cheap and highly effective fix.
