This is a nice-looking LED wall sconce, and the light output is very good. The illumination is bright, even, and clean, without obvious hot spots through the front diffuser. The selectable color temperature is a useful feature, especially since you can choose between warm white, neutral white, and cooler white before installation.The fixture is rated for outdoor/wet-location use, and the label also lists IP66, which is reassuring. It is also ETL listed and marked as conforming to UL Std. 1598. Based on the design, it does look reasonably well sealed overall, and I would expect it to perform fine when installed correctly.The listed output ratings are internally consistent: 18W / 2160 lumens, 20W / 2400 lumens, and 22W / 2640 lumens. Excellent output, so bright that it was difficult to get a photo of it on my kitchen table. I would prefer just compatible with a dimmer, Not the internal dimmer settings which are only slightly effective.My main caution is the construction. The label says aluminum + PC, and that matches what I see. The back/internal mounting frame appears to be aluminum, but the rest of the visible housing/diffuser assembly is largely acrylic/polycarbonate/plastic. That does not make it bad, but it is not the same thing as a fully aluminum and glass outdoor fixture. In shade or a protected location, I would expect it to age much better. In direct sun, I would be less confident long-term, and the five-year warranty may be a realistic expectation for weathering.Installation may also require more attention than some outdoor lights. The back of the fixture is a fairly large rectangular/square surface mounting over a more typical round box arrangement, so I would plan on carefully caulking/sealing around the wall contact area. For an outdoor-rated light, the rating still depends heavily on the installer making the wall interface watertight.The built-in selectable power/output settings are useful, but I would not assume this is fully dimmable with a wall dimmer unless the manufacturer specifically confirms that. It appears more like selectable output settings rather than ordinary continuous dimming.Overall, this is a good-looking, bright, reasonably well-designed outdoor sconce for the money. I like the performance and the style. My reservations are mainly about long-term UV/weather exposure because so much of it is plastic/polycarbonate rather than metal and glass. Personally, for a very exposed location, I would probably spend more for an all-aluminum and glass fixture. For a covered or semi-protected wall, this seems like a solid choice.

I love a nice bright outside light. I don't like the adjustment switches are on the back, but there isn't a whole lot of difference in the brightness settings to ultimately it's not a huge deal. I love the finish, it gives it a nice warm/inviting feel. Larger size, bright lighting, and built sturdy for outdoor use. Loving it so far and haven't had any issues with it. It's survived a pretty good storm so it holds up in inclement weather! Installation was simple and great price for what I needed it for. I would absolutely purchase this again.

I ordered this item to replace a old builder light and it looks great and works exactly like I thought it would. It took a while to get the board to approve this upgrade but my images show just how much of an improvement it really was. It was an easy three wire replacement and I didn't even need to hire an electricianto do the work. I highly recommend if you have an older outdoor fixture you want to replace.

This light is rather on the larger side and is very aesthetically pleasing. The casing is also very strong. I like to bench test these light before install to make sure they are suitable for their placement. I set it to 5000k and 22W. I was very pleased by the output. see video.I doubt the video or the picture will do justice to its brightness but it is rather bright. Because you can adjust the temperature and power output down, I believe this light is absolutely find for any location.Installation process is simple but there is a wrinkle. All adjustments are in the rear of housing. Meaning, if you later decide to change either color or power. the light must come off the wall. Being an outside light, water is a concern on the rear. There is no gasket. Normally I seal the edges to the slump block with clear silicon. If I did this, I would never be able to adjust using the controls in the rear.My solution is foam that has a sticky side. I lightly traced the housing area on the wall and applied the foam on both side a bit away from the edges and put a piece on top bent like a circle's upper arc going from side to side. When press the light onto the foam. I get a good seal. The top defects all water to the side and the sides runs it down. Air can still get in from bottom. This would not have been an issue if the settings were accessible but by design. Because the light bezel shines downwards as well, this does not work.It is a really nice light for the price. I will says exceptionally well priced as the light output is totally uniform. It looks like a giant source of light. This is a high quality light that is adjustable for your specific location. I must strongly recommend regardless of the sealing issue!

The back side of the fixture is sealed or water tight, even the selectable color and brightness switches are behind a water tight cover.Three color temperatures as well as three brightness levels. This is not a dimming selection, only bright and a little less bright.ETL listed for safety and code compliance. Electrical code in the USA and Canada require all electrical parts to be UL or ETL listed.While the back side of this fixture is water tight, you need to be sure that either the fixture it’s sealed on the top and two sides to prevent water intrusion to the electrical junction box, or that the junction box and the wiring is water tight. The concern here is on the house side of the install also needs to be protected from water intrusion. This would apply to any light fixture you install, not just this one.Recommended buy

The overall material quality is nice. The main housing is metallic with an aluminum frame and a plastic light cover. All of the screws that you have to remove came out smoothly, and everything fits together nicely. The exterior black paint has a matte finish, which was nice. The white plastic light cover is opaque so you cannot see the LED lights or anything on the interior. But the plastic cover does appear to be relatively thick and feels durable. After installation, the light (on the brightest setting) was quite sufficient, and the 4000k color temperature provided a good balance of warmth and visibility.In terms of installation, it was nice that the product accommodates two methods (either to a wall with 4 screws or to an exterior junction box with the crossbar bracket) and included a set of screws and wire nuts for both methods. However, there were some inconvenient design choices that impacted installation and will impact future maintenance.The light fixture itself is lightweight so connecting the wires with one hand while holding onto the light fixture wasn’t a problem. Attaching the crossbar bracket to the junction box also went smoothly. (1) The first challenge is that the switches to adjust the brightness and color temperature are on the back of the light fixture so that once you attach the light to the junction box, you no longer have access to the switches. Many lights have the switches on the bottom so that they are still accessible after installation. (2) Mounting the light to the crossbar bracket requires two screws (one on each side). If you have limited spacing for your ladder, you might not be able to see the other side of the light fixture and will have to fiddle with alignment and screw to get it in. (3) One of the major drawbacks is that the outer bracket is held on with three tiny screws (one on the top and two on the bottom). Because this bracket is a rectangle and it is rigid, if your wall is not completely flat and has textures, it might get in the way of the bracket (preventing it from sitting flush and perhaps preventing a screw from fitting properly). (4) It would have been nice if the product included extra screws for the housing (in case if they were accidentally lost or damaged).Overall, this was a nice exterior LED in terms of appearance and functionality; however, its design can also lead to some installation challenges as well as an inability to change the brightness and color temperature after installation.
