This flip socket set is a great addition to my toolbox. The dual-sided design is incredibly convenient because it gives you multiple sizes without having to constantly swap sockets.The sockets feel solid and well made, and the steel construction gives them a durable, professional feel. Though you will definitely smell the smelter when you first open the package. They fit lug nuts securely and performed exactly as expected during tire changes.I also like the thin wall design, which makes it easier to get into tighter spaces without sacrificing strength. These sockets are high quality & come with all the common sizes you'll need. The sizes are laser etched but not stamped. They are very easy to use & fit great in the included blow molded case. The 2 sided approach, it makes for a much more compact set. The included extension must be used on these, due to the 2 sided orientation. They also fit my longer extensions as well. They fit all the lugs on our family's vehicles. They are a great value. I highly recommend this set.

I am loving this set of flip sockets. Its so nice to know you will have the needed size when you get down on the ground. Having 4 flip sockets giving you 10 sizes has covered every hex lug nut I needed to take off. Both metric and sae sizes. Including the terrible chrome plated tin over steel lugs nuts. I am using them in a commercial setting (used tire shop) and the durability has been acceptable. I am seeing the black shiny finish scratch off. Over all I would give this a quality rating of 5 star. A convenience rating of 5 stars. If your a tire tech or own a tire shop these would be a wise investment. I would definitely order these again but I have a strong suspicion that may be a few years away.

I want to start by saying that this is the first time that I've personally encountered "flip sockets" so the experience was a little strange to get used to. You have to use the extension to be able to use the sockets. You attach the extension to your impact wrench and then slip your desired socket onto the extension. To be clear - there isn't really a way to use the sockets without the extension. You can see what the whole thing looks like in the pictures that I attached.From a functionality standpoint, these sockets are rock-solid. I was able to really easily remove a seriously stuck 7/8" nut that held the blade onto my riding mower with no issues at all - it came off smooth as butter using my 20v impact wrench. The socket and the extension held up like champs.Another thing to note here is that these LOOK like deep sockets, but they aren't. Once the extension is in place, these are really just double-sided standard depth sockets. If you need something for a deeper socket application, like lug nuts or something like that, then these are not the right tool. Overall it takes up less space in my tool box, so that a big plus, it's just a strange concept.

I purchased this flip socket set to have dedicated socket set for wheel and tire work. So far I have used the 3/4" size on my 2025 Ford Maverick, and it worked exactly as I hoped. I removed and reinstalled lug nuts without any issues, and the socket showed no signs of damage afterward. The flip-socket design is also convenient since it reduces the number of individual sockets needed for common wheel sizes.One thing I immediately liked was the fit. It fit snugly over the factory lug nuts without feeling excessively loose or tight, which is important on chrome-capped lug nuts where a loose-fitting socket can damage the outer shell. The socket was also deep enough to fit over the domed factory lug nuts and still fully engage the hex portion without issue.The thin-wall design is what really makes this set useful. Many impact and even standard sockets are simply too thick to fit through the recessed openings in modern aluminum wheels. This socket fit into the wheel opening properly and reached the lug nut without interference, which is exactly what I needed.I have not had the opportunity to use every size in the set yet, but based on the fit, finish, and performance of the size I did use, I am pleased with the purchase. For anyone looking for a compact thin-wall lug nut socket set, this appears to be a solid option.
