I really love these cast iron bird hooks. They’re extremely stylish and have a much more decorative look than a standard hook. I also like that they’re heavy-duty and have a nice weight to them, so they don’t feel flimsy or cheaply made.They come with all the hanging hardware needed for installation, which makes putting them up very convenient. I really like the decorative bird design and think these would look great in a garden, on a porch, or anywhere you want a functional hook with a little more personality.

At $17 when I picked these up, I thought that was a decent price on a set of heavy cast iron wall hooks like this, so a 4/5 in value. In terms of quality, these are nice, a 4/5 as well. I am a big fan of birds and so these wall hooks really hit a niche I was looking to fill as I decorated a room after a remodel. The weight of these makes it feel like quality compared to a cheap hanging hook. They look good. I'm using them as black, but the nice thing about these, you could paint them easily with a spray can any color to better match the look you're going for. Mounting is a synch with a couple of screws. Overall, these are a solid pickup for me. At a 4/5 in both value and quality, they're a 4/5.

I ordered these hooks for my farmhouse just because I liked their design with the birds and the fact that they do not stick out too far from the wall. I am very happy with them! They have a sweet, homey design without looking cheap or mass produced. They are heavy duty and I think they could easily hold the heaviest winter coats or full backpacks. They have a nice finish that is smooth and well molded. I like the color, too. It is very neutral so it fits in almost anywhere. I can definitely see these hooks remaining in my home and with my family for a very long time!

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.My wife and I love cast iron decorative pieces, partially because of how they look but also because they are often far more functional. These are exceptionally nice pieces. Very strong in construction with very cute little birds at the top. The kit included everything needed to mount these into standard drywall. That said, given the weight capacity of these, I would probably use a heavier molly than what was included to insure that they hold for a lifetime. What is included totally works and no faults there, I just personally would prefer a heavier grade molly (which is what I will use in my home). Overall these are wonderful, pretty, strong and they make my wife very happy.

The hooks are amazingly nice quality. They’re old fashioned and ornate and beautifully molded. The little chickadee type birdies are very sweet sitting on their curlicue scrolls. They’re probably not but the look is almost antique reproduction. They’re clearly real cast iron. From the sheer weight of them they have to be. I worry some about the weight. They apparently can hold up to 50 lbs so that’s more weight on top of the weight of the hooks themselves. The hooks seem well balanced and have two holes each. I’ll definitely use those plastic things that go around screws to secure them to the wall. I should learn to use a stud finder to figure out where in the drywall they’re likely to stay up. Mounting/hanging fears aside, they appear absolutely well constructed and the pretty black coating adds to the antique look but probably also means they’re waterproof and can be hung outdoors or survive a wet towel. They’re clearly strong enough for winter coats. However they’re used they’re pretty and the high quality is part of it.
