I wanted to share my thoughts on the AINIAILU Garbage Disposal Air Switch I recently installed. It is well-performing, reasonably priced, and very easy to install, whether you are replacing an existing switch or setting up a new one. No special tools were required, and it fit perfectly into my countertop. What sets this model apart is the dual-outlet design. One outlet is controlled by the air switch, while the other is a bypass outlet that provides continuous electricity—a highly convenient feature for powering additional small kitchen appliances from a single source. In terms of performance, the switch works immediately with a slight push to activate my garbage disposal. The stainless steel button has a modern look that blends seamlessly with the countertop, and it features a clean, solid press that responds quickly without sticking.Overall, it is a highly convenient and well-designed product.

I ordered this air switch to replace the one we were using for our garbage disposal. We find these very convenient and extremely safe. I accidentally ordered a Gold button unit but, fortunately I was able to just use the trim from my old unit with this unit.Instructions were in the box and installation was easy. The appearance is fantastic because all you see is the button top on your countertop. It does require that you have an appropriate size hole in your counter top so be aware of that if you have marble or granite type countertops. You can still install this inside the cabinet under the sink if necessary. My daughter‘s home, I grabbed a small 4“ x 4“ piece of wood and screwed it to the backside of the inner cabinet. I drilled the hole and inserted the switch button. It was not a countertop use, but it was very functional. She just has to open the cabinet door under the sink about 2 inches and push the button. If you have not had a push button Air switch for your disposal, you will be very happy happy to have this. It will allow you to stop worrying about any electrical ARC from a light switch when you have wet hands. This is a really good value for the price and it will be an upgrade to your kitchen. Not dimension much safer than a light switch.

This is just what we needed. Our disposal switch/outlet is below the sink, inside of the cabinet. This required us to open the cabinet door every time we wanted to run the disposal. Well, not any more. Now we just depress the countertop push button to turn the disposal on and off.The kit includes the power module with integrated power cord, air tube, countertop push button assembly, 3M mounting tape, and mounting screws. The countertop push button triggers the power module on and off using puffs of air. One press of the push button sends a puff of air to the power module turning it on. A second press of the push button sends a second puff of air to the power module turning it off. The air tube between the push button and power module is 5 feet in length and can be cut to a shorter length if needed. No electricity is present at the countertop push button making this kit very safe to use. We also appreciate that the power module is UL listed. The power module has two standard NEMA 5-15R outlets. One outlet is switched by the push button and the other outlet is unswitched. The power cord is about 30" in length. The power module is rated for 12A.The push button assembly can accommodate countertops up to about 2" thick and requires a 1-3/8" diameter hole. There are other air button kits on Amazon that are less expensive but many of them must plug directly into the under-sink outlet and do not have the extra unswitched outlet.
Very well priced garbage disposal air switch kit. I got this to replace an existing switch that is starting to get stuck or pops back slightly uneven. Very simple installation and a totally DIY project, especially if you are just switching it out. This one has a two plug connection, leaving an extra one for some other thing under the sink that may require power. The satin nickel finish is attractive and matches the finish of my fixtures. It is a great unit and very well priced. Five stars.

Metal construction, fits onto standard countertops made of stone. But it just feels a little bit lightweight and the color is also off. It doesn't pair very well with the more modern and stylish champagne bronze or champagne gold colors. Inexpensive at $36+ considering the always-on outlet -- allows for a secondary device such as powered osmosis water filter or hot water dispenser to be plugged in as well. But those are niche cases, chances are most kitchens don't have/don't need an additional outlet.Installation and mounting are relatively easy, just note that you do have to mount the power brick somewhere, which damages the wall or cabinets. You have to be careful of any plumbing around the area too.
I replaced my old air switch with this one because the previous switch kept popping back up and not staying consistent, which became really annoying during daily kitchen use. This new one works much better and feels more reliable.Installation was straightforward and I didn’t need any special tools. It fit nicely into my countertop and worked right away with my garbage disposal. I like that it has a clean, solid feel when you press it and it responds every time without sticking or bouncing back incorrectly like my old one.The added outlet is also a nice bonus for small kitchen appliances, and it’s convenient to have everything in one setup. The stainless steel button looks modern and blends in well with my countertop.
This is perfect for our kitchen setup. We have a wall switch on the back wall of our kitchen but it's a bit of a reach and often has various kitchen items in front of it. This is a great ssolution. I removed the switch from the wall and installed a receptacle to give our counter additional plugs. This makes the receptacle under the sink "hot" all the time. Now I can plug this device in and mount the air switch on the sink. This device had one switched receptacle and one constant receptacle. The tube is plenty long enough to connect to the air switch. The kit includes mounting hardware and iit's very easy to install.
