If you are not quite handy, this will require an electrician. The light itself needs assembled. Wire connections need to be made. But once it's together it's a beautiful light. Remote control works although it seems to be a universal remote with features my lamp isn't capable of. The over all finish is nice and I like it a lot.

I really wanted to love this light because the design is unique and modern. On paper, it's a great concept, and the adjustable color temperature and dimming features are nice to have.Unfortunately, the installation was a real pain. My biggest suggestion to the manufacturer would be to simply ship it preassembled in a slightly larger box. Having to assemble so much of the fixture before installation made the process much more frustrating than it needed to be.Once installed, it looks decent from a distance, but when the light is on, it doesn't have the premium appearance I was expecting. The finish and illuminated rings come across as a bit cheaper-looking than the product photos suggest, which was disappointing given the price.Functionally, it works fine. The remote is convenient, the lighting is adjustable, and it does what it's supposed to do. I just couldn't shake the feeling that I had paid premium money for a fixture that doesn't quite look or feel premium.Overall, it's not a bad light, but I think there are better options available in this price range. With simpler installation and a more refined appearance when illuminated, this could easily have been a much stronger product.

I would call the ceiling a cloverleaf design, at least by looking at it. That’s what reminds me of a Cloverleaf on an interstate highway with exits and entrances and all directions. It’s a very modern-looking fixture that would go well in a dining room, a bedroom, or a living room.The rings are very close to the ceiling. The LED strips are stored in the rings. It’s a very sturdy, well-made aluminum frame. There is some required to put this fixture together.Insulation is not difficult if you have an existing ceiling junction box too.The installation plate is connected to the fixture by screws and door nuts, which you remove to release the installation plate as you assemble the fixture. As with all electrical work, do not attempt the installation yourself until you read the following three tips and suggestions that I give.First, before you do any work on the junction box that you wish to connect this slide to, you should locate the circuit breaker control panel box in your home. In most homes, the circuit breaker control panel box is located in the basement. In some homes, the circuit control panel box is located in the garage, particularly if you do not have a basement.The easiest way to determine which circuit breaker controls the junction box that you’re about to begin working on is to have a friend stand by. Have the junction box with the current light that is using that junction box turned on, and have your friend talk to you via a cell phone as you go to the basement and turn off the circuit breaker control panel box switches. Once your friend alerts you that you turned it off, you can flash the light several times just to verify that it is in fact, the correct circuit breaker control switch.Second, before you begin any work, you should take an electrical testing device and test each and every one of the wires that are in that junction box to make certain that none of them are still energized. I know this may seem redundant because you just turned off the circuit breaker, but there are true reasons to do this which I’m not going into here.Third, many folks do not know how to properly connect a wire lock nut to connect the wires from the house service side to the fixture wires. Once you follow all the manufacturers instructions about assembly and you thread the wires through the install plate and door bracket as indicated and you remove the last half center meter of insulation from the house service wires, as well as from the fixture wires starting with the two black wires, the black wire from the house and the black wire from the fixture place, the tips pointing in the same direction adjacent to one another and cover both tips with the wire lock up and turn it clockwise until a firm, mechanical and electrical connection is established. Do the same with the white wire and the green wire.Once you’ve done this, you can push all the wires back inside the junction box. Make sure that the install plate is fully tightened through the junction box with the two screws coming out that are heading toward the nuts that you removed, or the wings coming out away from the junction box toward the edges of the fixture where you're replacing the screws; they’ll secure the fixture to the junction box.After you’ve secured the nuts and screws, the light is fully installed and can be tested. Go to the circuit bracket control panel box and turn the power back on, turn on the local switch, and test your work to make sure the light is working correctly.This is a beautiful light and you’ll undoubtedly get many comments from your visitors and guests as they sit and admire this slight it’s probably a light that one could stare at for a while and then one of the nice things about it that’s controlled by a remote control so you can have your many of the features of this slide are available and can be controlled via the remote
