This board and batten kit makes it much easier to get that custom wall panel look without having to figure everything out from scratch. The pieces feel sturdy and once installed they give the wall a much more finished and expensive appearance. I really like that they’re paintable because you can match them to the room and make everything look built in. It takes a little time to get everything lined up properly but the finished result is definitely worth it. Overall a great option for giving a plain wall a major upgrade.

I did some research on functional redecorating at a value price and this Board and Batten kit from GESSOLANE came heavy first on my tier-list. This kit added some serious good-looking decor upgrade and structural depth to the blank walls in my home's long narrow hallway. As a designer by trade, I value precise geometry AND good pricing -- and these pre-cut molding slats deliver exactly BOTH. Covering a massive 94 by 53-inch area, the high-density fiberboard arrives with perfectly square edges, eliminating the process of measuring and cutting bulk lumber in my garage. The factory-primed white surface accepts heavy acrylic paint flawlessly without excessive soaking or grain raising. It instantly elevated the hallway's visual aesthetic. What the manufacturer leaves out is the exact thickness tolerance of the cross pieces. My specific installation issue is that the horizontal slats are kinda thin, amigos. If you use a high-pressure pneumatic brad nailer, you gotta turn your compressor PSI down a good bit, or the nails will blow completely through the material and split the MDF. ZOOM! Whoa!! We are happy with this wall molding kit. It saved my husband and I lots of the measuring and cutting that usually comes with a do it yourself project. Who doesn’t like a shortcut? It actually was fairly easy, but the results look more complicated and expensive than it turned out to be. We had wanted this look, and finally with this molding kit, there were no more excuses. The pieces are lightweight, easy to work with, and because it’s paintable you choose the paint to match your room. If you want the look of decorative wall molding without starting completely from scratch, this is a good option, without the expense and effort of a big commitment. I think the quality is impressive considering the effort and price. Love it!

Beautiful design and easy install! This is a complete kit for batten board. Panels stick right on in place and completed in minutes. Gives the room an elegant look, but this is way cheaper than any custom install. It runs a little over 7’. Panels are about 1/4” thick. Easy painting.
