This commercial mortise lock set worked out perfect. The stainless steel trim feels really strong and like it'll last a long time on heavy doors. As for the appearance, the clean satin stainless steel finish looks sharp and professional against the door without looking overly industrial. Swapping it out was super easy and didn't run into any issues with the existing door prep, and the fit was spot-on with the standard backset and spacing lining up cleanly into place. It's compatible with my heavy-traffic apartment corridor door. It fixed the security issue by providing a reliable deadbolt and latch function that operates smoothly with the key and levers. The 6-pin Type C keyway cylinder turns smoothly without any sticking. Overall, it works great and I think it's a great value!!!

I received the OAKMOORE Grade 1 commercial mortise lock set and installed it on an apartment corridor door. While the actual key pins are basic and easy to pick, the quality of the latch and bolt operation are top notch. It's very strongly built with quite a few quality of life features, like an easy to set one-way lock and reversable mechanisms. The actual lock cylinder has 7 pins, but it's a normal mortise style, so can be swapped out quite easily.Everything can be done with just a long necked philips screwdriver. Needs no specialty tools.

I installed this mortise lock set on front door and it feels much more substantial than a typical residential door handle. The handle has a nice solid feel and the lock mechanism operates smoothly without having to force the key or handle. The lock sets seems pretty solid but installation was a bear. The doors we were installing on are 1-3/4" thick. The strike plate is non-adjustable and we had to grind it out in order for it for the latch to connect.I would recommend the manufacturer send adjustable strike plates with their lock sets. Also, it would be great if they offered to send two adjustable strike plates to remedy the issue

The inside lever always allowed exit while the outside stayed secured when locked. The deadbolt and latch both moved smoothly and the escutcheon plate gave the finished door a clean professional appearance. Installation was manageable because the door was already set up for a mortise lock. I would not call this a casual first-time project on an unprepared door, though. The included cylinder and keys made the package feel complete and the overall build quality seems suited for apartment corridors or other high-use commercial spaces. At this price, it is not cheap but compared with premium commercial hardware it still feels like a good value. This probably makes the most sense for someone replacing an existing mortise lock or outfitting a properly prepared commercial door. I would absolutely buy it again for that kind of job.
