I wanted a protector for the couch, so I got these larger sizes (they do come in different sizes, so measure for your needs) They are non skid, so kind of sticky, great for pieces that don't get moved around much, or ones that you can pick up and move, but want to stay put where you put them. Great for kids, as they won't slide around when they are being playful. Can protect your carpet too, especially if the feet of the legs are rough metal. The silicone top stretches out to snugly fit and stay on the furniture. Unlike the older types, where the legs can slide off the sides, these supply "Bumpers", that prevent that. They come in square and round and different colors, the bottoms are flat, not curved like others that are more for mobile type dining chairs.

Great, affordable solution for protecting our new LVP flooring! We love our new flooring, but we worry about scratches and scrapes from sliding furniture about on it. These pads are the perfect solution for our dresser that has somewhat wide square feet. They were relatively simple to pop on just my angling the dresser back to gain access. I got these for an office chair that I converted that had wheels, to it being non-sliding and stable. The problem was in finding something large enough to fit the large circular bell glides now under the five base legs.These floor protectors fit extremely well, not too tight nor too loose. They have a good thickness to them. The office chair stays in place. To move the chair, I have to gently lift it.
