We are putting tin on our garage building. We got this blade for in our circular saw to cut the sheet metal. It works very well and makes a clean cut. It fit our saw perfectly and has cut a lot of tin. It’s holding up great and was reasonable priced.

Good blade for the money. Stays sharp.

The SawWorks 7-1/4" 48T TCG Circular Saw Blade for Metal Cutting has performed well. I've run it through 29 and 26 gauge roofing with an older Ryobi 18v saw, and it has performed admirably on laminate flooring, used on my 7-1/4 miter saw. Compared to a diablo metal blade, the price can't be beat, and performance seems similar. I haven't cut heavy steel with it, and likely won't.

Great blade so far

I used this blade to cut a straight edge in some metal roofing that I had installed. The cuts were as expected and the blade hasn't shown any signs of degradation. I used it just like I would a standard wood cutting blade, but I moved slower when cutting. Don't forget safety glasses/goggles and some gloves, cut a little slower and you should be happy with the cut quality. The only drawback is the price. These are more expensive than ones offered from my big box store. But, if the blade lasts longer, it's worth it. I'll update my review should anything change.

This saw blade works great. It lets my basic circular saw do a respectable job on metal, including steel. The blade is the standard size for many circular saws, 7 1/4-inches with a 5/8-inch arbor. But it's a lot thinner - the kerf is around 1.9mm (0.055").For me, this blade has been a gamechanger for cutting rebar. Previously we had been using a chop saw in the shop which works fine...if you're in the shop. On the road, it's a lot tougher to haul around a chop saw when we're only making a few cuts. With this new blade, though, it's a lot easier to just leave it loaded in the circular saw. Even on a mid-range circ saw, this blade chews right through rebar. Plus, with the circ saw, we can cut the pieces to length even after they're pounded into the ground. And the blade does even better on flat stock. It runs true and doesn't wander. Plus, it produces a remarkably clean cut, so there's not nearly as much cleanup.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this 7-1/4” 56 Tooth Saw Blade performs. It produces smooth, accurate cuts in thin metal with very little burr, which means less cleanup and a great looking finished edge. The thin-kerf design cuts efficiently without putting excessive strain on the saw, and the carbide TCG (Triple Chip Grind) teeth stay sharp through repeated use.The 5/8” arbor fit my circular saw perfectly, and the blade ran true with very little vibration. It handled aluminum angle, aluminum trim, and other thin metal profiles with clean results.If you’re looking for a durable 7-1/4-inch metal cutting saw blade that delivers fine, clean cuts with minimal burrs, this is an excellent choice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone working with aluminum, light-gauge steel, metal roofing, or other thin metal materials. Great value, excellent performance, and a worthwhile addition to any workshop.

This SawWorks 7-1/4-inch, 56-tooth carbide blade produces clean, controlled cuts in aluminum, copper, hard plastics, and other non-ferrous materials. The triple-chip-grind teeth reduce grabbing and leave very little burring, while the blade runs true without the excessive vibration or chatter sometimes found in cheaper blades.It also performs surprisingly well on plywood and trim. The high tooth count leaves a smooth, almost finish-grade edge, making this a convenient blade for projects involving several different materials. It will not replace every dedicated blade in the shop, but it can significantly reduce how often you need to swap blades.The most important detail is the blade’s maximum rated speed of 3,500 RPM. A standard 5/8-inch arbor does not automatically mean it is suitable for every circular or miter saw. Many ordinary framing saws run at 5,000 RPM or more, so verify your saw’s speed before installation. This blade is best paired with a lower-speed, high-torque metal-cutting saw.It does require a slower, patient feed through thicker aluminum to prevent excess heat buildup, which is why I am giving it four stars. Used on the correct saw and allowed to work at its own pace, it delivers accurate cuts with minimal cleanup. A surprising number of negative blade reviews are really saw-compatibility problems in disguise. Put this blade on the right machine, and it performs very well; put it on the wrong one, and physics starts filing complaints.

Clean cuts with solid overall performance

I picked up this metal cutting blade for a few small fabrication projects, and it’s been a solid performer for cutting thinner metal without spending a fortune on a premium blade. The cuts are noticeably cleaner than using a standard wood blade, and it goes through mild steel, aluminum, and other light metal stock with much less effort than I expected. As long as you let the blade do the work instead of forcing it, it leaves a fairly smooth edge with minimal burrs.The 48-tooth design strikes a nice balance between cutting speed and finish quality. I mainly used it on thin steel tubing and aluminum, and it tracked straight without a lot of vibration. It also seemed to generate less heat than I expected, which helped keep discoloration on the material to a minimum during longer cuts.The blade feels well made and stayed sharp through multiple projects. It fit my circular saw without any issues, and I appreciated not having to make adjustments or use adapters. While it’s designed for lighter metal cutting, I wouldn’t push it into thicker steel or expect it to replace a dedicated industrial blade for heavy fabrication.For the price, I think it offers really good value.
