These cabinet locks are really convenient when you need to keep certain cabinets secured. I like that the set comes with two metal locks and four keys, and having them keyed alike makes things much easier because I don’t have to keep track of which key belongs to which lock.I got these locks mainly for childproofing, and they work really well for keeping cabinets secured and preventing kids from easily getting into things they shouldn’t. I like that they’re metal because they feel much sturdier and more secure than some of the plastic childproof cabinet locks I’ve tried.The set comes with two locks and four keys, and I especially appreciate that they’re keyed alike. That means I don’t have to remember which key goes to which cabinet, which makes everyday use much easier.The adjustable design also helps with getting a secure fit. I needed a way to lock up adult beverage bottles, and these worked well on a cabinet with two handles. The key option made the most sense for me, and they dont look over the top at all. The metal construction is solid, the fitment is adjustable, and both locks use the same key. Its simple and effective without having to drill. Overall, theyre well made and do what theyre suppose to.

We have a few cabinets and spaces with handles that I needed my kid out of, and theres no way to lock the door on them and the stick on plastic child latches either dont fit or get defeated in about a week. These are the answer. Slide the U shaped bar through both handles, push the lock body back on, turn the key. Done. No adhesive, no drilling, nothing to install.Build quality is way better than the plastic stuff. Aluminum alloy and brass, theres real weight to them, and my kid is not getting past this one no matter how determined he gets. Its also fast for an adult to open which matters because if a lock is annoying you stop using it.Really nice touch that both locks are keyed alike and you get four keys total. So you can put one lock upstairs and one downstairs and carry a single key, and you have spares for when one inevitably disapears. Matte black finish looks good and doesnt scream childproofing hardware.The one thing you absolutely must do before ordering is measure. The adjustable range is smaller than the listing suggests, realistically your looking at knobs or handles roughly 4 inches apart or less on the short version. A lot of people are getting these and finding their cabinet handles are spaced too wide. Measure inside to inside on whatever your locking and compare before you buy, and check that the bar will fit through your handle openings.Ours fit fine and they've been in daily use for a while now with no issues. The mechanism still turns smooth.Worth being realistic about what this is, its a deterrent not a safe. Someone with cutters gets past it. But for keeping a curious kid out of somewhere they shouldnt be its exactly right and I've got peace of mind now.

This lock is much sturdier than I expected. I got it to lock up cabinets that i didn’t want the dog sitter to open for privacy. It’s a bit large for my cabinets but the size would be more versatile for different types and sizes of cabinet handles, just make sure that it’s long enough to reach across both and you’re set! It comes with two locks and four keys. All four keys work in both locks so that’s important to know if for some reason you wanted someone able to access one cabinet but not the other. They look really nice and well made, and at the same time if you want something lower profile this is not it. I personally dont mind. The bonus of both locks being keyed the same means you have four keys total in case youre prone to losing things! Very easy and simple to use, key in the lock, install on cabinet handles.

I got these locks for my cabinets, but unfortunately, they don’t fit because the knobs on my cabinets are spaced too far apart. I didn’t realize there could be differences in knob placement, so I should have checked the measurements before ordering. I assumed the knobs were generally positioned the same on cabinets.The locka themselves seem pretty durable, and I got them in the matte black, which looks really nice. They come with keys, including four extra keys, which is a nice feature.Overall, I’m disappointed that I can’t use these because of the spacing between my cabinet knobs. If you’re considering these, definitely make sure the spacing on your cabinet knobs will work before ordering.

I ordered these metal locks in order to keep my medicines and the cleaning supplies in my home safe from my grandchildren.The package arrived with two locks and a set of four keys. The locks have some weight to them but aren't really heavy. The paperwork says they're made from an aluminum alloy and brass.Attaching them was simple. Just unlock the lock, slide out the metal 'U' from the lock, slide it onto two adjacent doorknobs, and slide the lock back in and use the key to lock it. I attached the lock to two lower cabinets, and the second lock to two upper cabinets.The mechanism holds well. However, the paperwork says it will lock knobs up to 5-1/2" apart. In one of the attached photos, though, I closed one of the locks as far apart as I could. If your knobs are more than 4-1/4" apart, I'm not sure you would be able to close the locking mechanism. I would say just keep that in mind if you're considering this lock.The price is reasonable, I think, and I feel safer knowing that my grandchildren are protected from items that could harm them. I'm glad I chose these locks.
