I’m really impressed with this floor gap fixer tool! It feels sturdy and heavy duty, and the suction cup creates a strong grip on the flooring. The 45° striking surface makes it much easier to move laminate or vinyl planks back into position without struggling.I also appreciate that it comes with five pads and a slot cutter, so everything needed for small flooring adjustments is conveniently included in the kit. It’s easy to use and saves a lot of time compared with trying to fix floor gaps by hand.A very practical tool to have around the house, especially if you have laminate or vinyl plank flooring. Great quality, strong suction, and it works as expected. Definitely a 5-star product!

I've got one long piece of laminate flooring in my living room that likes to "drift". About once or twice a year, I need to attach something like this to gently tap it back into position.Previously, I'd improvise with heavy duty double stick tape and a mallet, but now I've got the right tools for the job.It holds securely and does exactly what you expect! It's terrific.

I gave this floor gap fixer 5 stars because it worked exactly as intended. After moving into a new house where the flooring wasn’t installed very well, we ended up with several gaps that needed to be fixed. This tool made the job much easier. The suction cup held firmly in place, so I didn’t have to keep repositioning it, and it was easy to use even for someone with little flooring experience. It feels solid and well made, not flimsy like some cheaper tools. Great value for what you get.If you have laminate or vinyl plank flooring with gaps, this is definitely worth having. It did exactly what I needed it to do, and I’m glad I got it.

Has a great hold on the floor and it love that the pounding area has felt on to help quiet the hits and make the process easy to fix the gaps. Solid construction and worked well to fix the gaps from having to replace part of the floor after a leak.

Great tool expecially for the cost. This tool helps you fix a problem. Up till now I've been living with some flooring with large gaps between the planks. I had water proof floor planking installed throughout our house and the seams were pretty tight at first but I noticed in a few spots that the seams have gotten larger. They aren't terrible but noticable. I didn't know how to fix them and I didn't want to pay someone to come out so I've been ignoring them up until I saw this Floor Gap Fixer Tool. I was very curious if it would work expecially for the low cost so I ordered it. The kit came with the gap fixing tool and a tool for cleaning out any debris in the seams that would prevent the flooring from going back together and some reusable adhesive pads. The reusable pads are for if the suction cup of the gap fixing tool doesn't suck down to the flooring due to the surface not being smooth. This was the situation that I had because my flooring has a deep wood grain texture that you can feel. So after cleaning out the seam of the first joint I wiped the floor plank clean and removed the thin film from one of the adhesive pads and stuck it down to the floor obviously not over the seem but to one side or the other. Next I put the gap fixer tool over the adhesive pad and pulled the lever over and it held tight. With hardly and force from my rubber mallet the seam closed right up. The hardest part of the entire process was getting the piece of thin film back onto the adhesive pad straight without any over hanging. If you don't get the film back on correctly then it's possible to get dirt all over the pad making it unusable. The kit came with five pads. To make things easier next time I'm going to mark the pads on both sides so that it will be easier to line back up plus I'm going to put them in a Ziploc bag to help keep them clean. I put the gap fixing tool on a piece of tile to test it and it stuck good without any problem, and I didn't need to use a adhesive pad.I'm thrilled with my new tool and soon will have no gaps in my floors.

I recently finished installing 2400 feet of LVP flooring. I still have another 300 feet to install in another room. While installing the tile, I learned how invaluable it is to have a tool that allows you to move an installed tile without banging on the edge of a tile with or without a beater block. This suction block adheres to a tile's surface with a powerful suction cup. The two opposing 45 degree hammering pads allow you to safely move the tile in the desired direction. The opposing hammering pad makes it convenient to move the tile in the opposite direction when you've gone too far. The two counter opposing pads let you change directions, and this is important, without having to release the vacuum to reposition the suction cup as single hammering pad versions of this style of tool. That is a huge time savings.I chose to install my planks with alternating grout lines. When starting a new row, being able to get the grout line in the exact center of the next plank always required tapping a bit in one direction, and then the other. Don't make the mistake of buying a suction cup that only has one surface to bang on. Two surfaces, like this tool has, are the way to go.I honestly do not know what the knife tool is for, nor is it explained. This tool comes with a nice supply of sticky pads if your tiles have a rough surface. Mine are smooth, so I have not tried them to see how they work.I like the bright orange color. It helps you keep track of where it is.For the price, get this tool and you will be happy.

This floor gap fixer tool is a solid pick for fixing small separations in laminate or vinyl plank flooring without pulling the whole section apart. The suction cup has a strong hold when used on a clean, smooth plank, and the 45° striking surface makes it easier to tap the tool with a mallet without feeling like the force is going in the wrong direction. For one specific repair, a vinyl plank near a hallway transition had shifted just enough to leave an open gap at the short end. After wiping the plank clean, pressing the suction cup down, and giving the angled strike plate a few firm taps, the plank slid back into place without scuffing the surface. The included pads helped keep the tool from feeling rough against the flooring, and having extras in the kit is useful because pads tend to wear out or get dirty over time.Compared with basic rubber block style gap tools, this one feels more controlled because the suction cup keeps the pulling force centered on the plank instead of relying only on pushing from the edge. Compared with simple suction lifters, the built-in striking surface gives it more purpose for flooring work instead of just lifting or holding. The slot cutter is a useful bonus too, especially for small cleanup or adjustment work during flooring repairs.Pros:Strong suction on clean, smooth laminate or vinyl45° striking surface gives better tapping controlIncludes 5 pads, so replacements are already on handMore flooring-focused than a basic suction handleGood value for a kit with pads and a cutter includedCons:Suction depends heavily on the plank surface being clean and flatNot ideal for textured flooring with deep grainA rubber mallet is still needed for best resultsTakes a little pressure to get the suction cup seated properlyOverall, this tool offers good value for anyone dealing with floating floor gaps. It feels sturdier and more targeted than many basic gap repair tools, and the included accessories make the kit feel complete instead of bare minimum.

I am currently in the middle of remodeling my entire house, but I am only installing new tile in the kitchen. However, I started noticing just how many gaps there were in the hardwood flooring throughout my house. Since I am already spending so much time painting walls, replacing fixtures and hardware, I figured I should fix the flooring gaps as well. After doing some research online and watching a few videos, I learned that this tool was exactly what I needed. And from what I saw, it did not seem like a very difficult job, so I decided to try it out. When the tool arrived, the first thing I noticed was that it felt heavy and solid. It is definitely designed to withstand hammering. I tested it by trying to fix a few gaps on the engineered hardwood flooring in one of my hallways. The cup gripped the floor and created a very strong suction. I even tried to pull it off, but it did not budge at all. It comes with several clear adhesion pads which you can use on surfaces that the cup may have difficulty creating a strong suction with. However, I did not need to use them because it worked really well on my oak hardwood. The gaps in my flooring have been there for years. I first tested it on one of the larger gaps and it was amazing how quickly the boards slid back together. I cannot overstate how incredible easy it was to use. First, you clean out debris in the gap with the tool that comes with the set. Then, you simply clamp down the suction cup and hammer the block until the gap closes. Because the gap will shift to the other end of the board, you just keep working your way down the row until you reach the baseboard. At that point if the gap doesn’t get hidden under the molding, you simply add a small piece of flooring to fill the gap. And that’s how easy it was.I am really glad I ordered this gap fixer tool. I was not expecting it to create as strong of a suction that it did. I am so impressed with how great it worked out. It is a strong, durable tool that is very well-made and I definitely recommend it.
