Working in construction, I've seen people wearing long sleeves and stuff in hot sunny weather and wondered how that could be cooler than less clothing. I still feel that way mostly, but these sleeves are really 'cool'. Within 30 seconds of putting them on, it's like I can feel every breeze magnified and my forearms genuinely feel cooler. That's sitting on the couch in my house, too. Outside, they work wonders to reflect heat and cool where it matters most, your forearms with blood vessels running up and down. It has to be using your body's natural moisture loss to evaporatively cool you.I prefer these sleeves because I can remove them without taking off my shirt when I'm done working. They're cheaper to replace than a whole shirt if they get damaged, too. So far they seem more durable than I expected.Currently priced at $10 for one pair, I can't say this is the best value. The same products are available on here in 3packs for the same price, assuming the quality is the same. The quality in these is great.

Got these through Vine, and they have been a absolute game-changer lately. I’ve been using them constantly, especially during these brutal 100°+ days, and they make a noticeable difference in keeping my arms cool and protected from the sun.The material is lightweight, breathable, and stays in place without slipping down or feeling too tight. Much easier than constantly reapplying sunscreen when you're out in the heat for hours. Definitely a must-have for summer!

When I saw things like gamer sleeves I use to think it was people trying to be like their favorite E player, or as posers. I was like how could that possibly do much. That was until I got my first glass mousepad. Some are worse than others but they all might as well have low grade adhesive on them when it comes to direct skin contact as I've now tried out 5 different kinds. Sleeves do make a world of difference on glass mousepads. So I've tried a few sleeves from brands associated with the PC world. I picked these as well as another type not marketed for gaming up to see if brands not marketed for it could work out as well as those designed for it. The other set of non gamer types as shown in the pics did not work out at all. They're strictly for what these are marketed for. These however did work out well. These are in the far left of the pic.These at 88% nylon to 12% spandex don't work out quite as good as my current from TJ Exclusives. Specifically the custom designed Zen by You which is 80% polyester and 20% spandex. But they get pretty darn close. The glide of these is only slightly lower. The difference between nylon and polyester clearly isn't that much if the weave of the fabric is so similar. Their only other drawback is only 1 bead or rubber or silicone or whatever it is on the upper arm part to help keep them from sliding down. As opposed to the 2 beads of the same whatever it is on the Zen. But it still works good enough to keep these in place. What these definitely have on them is price though. You can get 4 of these for a few bucks less than 1 of those. So when I wear out my current 3 I'll be picking up more of these instead of wasting so much money on gamer marketed sleeves. When you Google "best gaming arm sleeves" the AI results will tell you things like "Material: Avoid gym/athletic compression sleeves. Dedicated gaming sleeves use slicker polyester and spandex blends built for gliding across desk materials rather than sweat-wicking for outdoor sports." But I had seen a few Reddit posts that made me question that so I figured I give it a shot. I figured worse comes to worse and it's a miniscule hit on the taxes I get from Vine products. So I'm glad I tried these and I think Islis should add gaming to their marketing.As for their intended use I wouldn't really call these true compression sleeves. They're more for what they say they are. Sun blockers and sweat absorbers. They're comfortable but don't really compress like the other unslick ones I also picked up definitely do.Oh and if you're wondering what's on my wrist. That's a Deltahub Carpio G 2.0. I use to stupidly think Carpal Tunnel was something office workers were using to scam workers comp or the like. I mean only in passing, it wasn't exactly something I gave a lot of thought about. That was until I developed it myself, SMH. That hurts. No, like HURTS. Like hit your funny bone but replace the tingling with pure pain hurts. When it flares up badly anyways. I'm glad I only mentally made fun of people who I stupidly thought only claimed to have it or I'd definitely owe some apologies. With that on I no longer wrist aim with my mouse which is something I've been doing for ages. I first started using PC in the good ol days of DOS in the 80s which wasn't before mice were invented but definitely before they became ubiquitous. Now I'm paying for it in my 40s. Take care of yourself and don't wrist aim. Move your arm at your elbow.

I have very pale skin that's quite sensitive and prone to sun damage. As soon as I saw these arm sleeves from Islis, I knew I had to order them!The arm sleeves are made out of a blend of nylon and spandex. You can't see through the material whatsoever and they feel very smooth against my skin. The material feels similar to high quality workout clothes. They're lightweight, stretchy, and well made. The stitching arrived in perfect condition and is tidy throughout each sleeve.The arm sleeves fit my arms great! They're a bit snug on the upper portion of my arms but are still very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I would rather they fit a little snug and stay up where they're supposed to anyway. The upper arm bands are lined with durable elastic and do an excellent job of staying up! I have worn them to workout, do yard work, and on my daily walks. The sleeves haven't slipped or moved around once! The arm sleeves are easy to put on and take off. If you're a man or have large biceps in general, these sleeves might fit a little too tight.The arm sleeves provide excellent sun protection and I haven't had any sun burns since I've started wearing them. They're convenient and I love being able to put them on quickly and go about my day. It's so nice not to have to slather my arms in sunscreen all the time. I live in Florida so the weather is usually hot and humid. These arm sleeves do a great job of keeping me cool and sweat free. I was very surprised by how cool they stay, even after I've been in the sun for several hours. I've also worn them in the ocean to swim and they dry quickly after being completely saturated in water.I ordered these arms sleeves in the color black and they go great with all of my tops and t-shirts. When I wear them with a black or darker color top, you can't even tell I'm wearing special sleeves, and they look like they're a part of the top. They're versatile and can be worn during sports, golf, boating, fishing, gardening, yard work, exercising, etc.The instructions state to hand wash these gloves which I have done several times now. They're holding up great so far and the elastic is still as tight as the first day I got them. I like to use a gentle laundry detergent and soak them in cold water for a little while, then lay them flat to dry. With proper care they should last for a long time.Overall, I couldn't be happier with these arm sleeves! They're comfortable, functional, and do an excellent job of protecting my skin from the sun. I have ordered other types of gloves and arm sleeves in the past but these are some of my all time favorites! The quality and craftsmanship is truly top notch and I'm going to order a few more pairs to rotate through. They're a fantastic value for the price and I'm so happy I ordered them!

It is not just cool but actually cools. My cousin had always talked about this type of sleeves when she runs or bikes. I always kind of brushed her off. I live in South Florida, it is hot and humid for summer. Always thought how adding more cloth can keep me cool. Well, I was wrong. I am a causal biker, when it gets hot, I don't ride. I saw this listed, I figure that I had nothing to lose. I probably should get a white one, but I got a black one. It wears just like a regular clothing item, rolls right up my arm, it extended from my wrist to my upper arm mid-way. Secure but comfortable, did not slide down when I ride. It is a very thin layer of material well made and stitched, looks good. It fits my arm and my wife's arms both verry well, seems to be one-size-fits-all. The end result is that when I ride it really keeps my arms cool (looking to see if I can get a shirt with the same material). It is pretty amazing. I am no scientist, but I think the sweats were trapped in the fabric long enough allowing the evaporation cooling to happen. It works, is what matters. In summery, it works, good quality, good fit and will get another pair for my wife in WHITE. :)

I prefer to use sun sleeves like these when I'm going to be in the sun for extended periods of time, such as long bike rides. I like using them more than sun screen which can be greasy and needs to be re-applied frequently; I also find that sleeves (when they're white or a light color) can actually feel cooler due to their ability to reflect the sun's rays. Brand name, cycling specific sun sleeves can be a bit pricey, so I figured I would give these Islis sleeves a shot.The fabric on these sleeves is really nice--very lightweight, soft and stretchy--and while I can't independently verify the fabric's UPF rating, it's very similar to other fabrics I've used with no issues (i.e. no sunburn after extended exposures). By the nature of this type of fabric, be aware that it's not going to hold up well to abrasion and snags, but I don't fault the manufacturer, it's just the nature of having really lightweight fabric like this. The stitching is good and consistent. The sleeves have silicone rubber grippers printed on the inside of the upper arm cuffs (none on the wrist) that do help to keep the sleeve from sliding down. It would be awesome if they had them on the outside too so my bike jersey sleeves would help grip the sun sleeves from the outside.I'm above average height (5'10") and fairly skinny (150 lbs), so while these do fit me, I think I would benefit from a skinnier and longer sleeve than these. The wrist on these sleeves measure 3.5" laid flat (i.e. a 7" circumference) which is true to the product dimension provided in the listing; the upper arm opening measures 5.5" laid flat (i.e. an 11" circumference), which is a bit larger than the stated product dimension of 5.12", and as a result is a little large on me. It's not floppy, but it's also not really compressive or even skin tight. And while the fabric stretches nicely, it doesn't seem to stretch as much in length, so I found that these sleeves felt a bit short for me (another 1.5 - 2" would have been perfect).Overall, if the sizing/shape of these works for you, I think you'll be pleased with the sleeves. As with many clothing items, I think offering at least two or maybe three different sizes would help provide a better fit for a wider range of users and I would be willing to pay a little extra for that option.

I really surprised myself with this one. I was looking for something I could use to protect my arms when gardening and thought these were worth a try, but at the price point had fairly low expectations. Boy was I wrong. The sleeves arrived in a simple, but appropriate opaque ziplock bag, taking up very little room. I ordered the heather gray and was impressed with how nice the color was. It’s like a dark speckled gray. The sleeves themselves are simple, but well made with tight stitching and no fraying seams. The bicep end of the sleeve is slightly rubberized to provide grip and keep it in place on your arm. In use the sleeves are tight, but reassuringly so, not at all uncomfortable. In fact I put them on inside and quickly noticed the cooling effect. I honestly wasn’t expecting that despite what the marketing material said. I continued to wear them around the house for the next few hours and despite the ac being on, I found my arms felt cooler with these on than just having bare arms. Later I went for an evening walk and despite it being in the low 80s my arms still felt cool even though I don’t understand why! Regardless I’ve been very happy with these and found myself wearing them much more than I thought I would. I even bought a second pair for my wife. For the price i can recommend them.
