The clips fit around my arch with room to spare, so they'll be able to grasp the balloons easily without getting caught around the metal, which would make them unable to close. This does mean that the clips don't actually keep the balloons at a certain level of the arch, but they will keep them from pulling away from the arch.They're very easy to use, and will be great for parties as the balloons will no longer fall off the arch in the middle of an event! These transparent balloon arch clips and clear stretchy bands are virtually invisible and incredibly useful for making professional arches and garlands for less effort and time. I didn't know what I was missing. They are going to be such a big help for the graduation party I get them for.This set contains ten 3.5" clear plastic clips and fifty clear stretchy bands. The clips are heavy duty plastic and can open from 1" to 2.36". The clear bands are 7.87" by . 19" and they have a good amount of stretch. Both feel like sturdy, well made items that will last through multiple uses. They are made to work together to build balloon arches and garlands and they definitely make the work easier.You first clip the clip to the arch or whatever support you are using, then you secure the rubber band to the clip and stretch it over a balloon to anchor it to the arch or whatever you are attaching it too. It's that simple. You just go down the arch untill it's all secured. It wasn't hard at all but it's good to have two sets of hands to get the clear band around the balloon. Once you are done the clear clips and rubber bands just disappear into the background and all you see is a very beautiful professional looking arch or garland.Both the clips and rubber bands can be used in other ways as well. The clips can be used to hang up backdrops, art projects, as chip clips or cord wranglers. I have found them quite handy to hang up cute banners and garland across my fireplace mantel. The rubber bands can be used bundle groups of balloons together, hang balloon bunches to the wall with some tape and to hold small boxes closed. I am so happy with these clips! They are so handy for so many things. Recently I used them for clamps for tablecloths at an outdoor party, and they kept them very secure. They can also be used for chip bags or hanging items on a line beyond balloons, which is so useful! They take up very little space as well, so they would be easy to keep on hand in a car or purse for travel needs. I will definitely use them for balloon arches in future family parties as well.

You get a nice set of 10 clear plastic but pretty sturdy spring clips that are designed for balloon arches but can be used for lots of things around your home or at events. Perfect for holding backdrops, lightweight curtaining, garlands, string lights and more. The clear color helps disguise their presence. They easily clip around smaller pipes and rails. You also receive 50 long rubber band type bands that can also be used for quite a number of functions holding items. They aren't as stretchy as rubber bands but blend in well and can be used without being visually disruptive of your design.The clamps are good quality and work well for things weighing maybe 2 lbs or less. Overall these seem a bit higher priced than I would expect for what you receive but they do work as expected.
