I got this to cover the tops of a few old TV tray tables and really liked the black-and-white composition notebook design. It gave the tops a fresh, fun look and adhered very well to the smooth top surfaces.Where I ran into trouble was on the underside of the tables. It didn’t stick nearly as well there, so the finished project doesn’t look as nice from underneath. I chose not to sand the tables beforehand because I didn’t want to damage them if this project didn’t work out.I do think this contact paper would be a great choice for lining drawers, covering notebooks, shelves, cabinets, or other smooth, flat surfaces where the adhesive can make full contact. I’m planning to try it on a few other projects because I really like the pattern. Just be aware that adhesion may vary depending on the surface you’re applying it to.

This is a really cool roll of contact paper with the familiar black and white pattern of composition notebooks. I have big plans to cover some of my notebooks with this contact paper to give the the really neat retro composition book look. Ooh, maybe wrap a pencil cup for my desk, too. Lots of fun crafty things I can think of for this fun contact paper.
