We are very happy with these shelf brackets. We wanted to install several 5 inch wide shelves in a pool house and these 4 by 4 inch brackets worked perfectly. This is a pack of six and we used three brackets on each of two shelves. They are clearly sturdy brackets. Screws are provided and luckily for us the studs in the wall were positioned perfectly for what we needed to do. You should not depend on these screws supporting a shelf if just screwed into wall board. The 4 inch size worked well on our slightly larger 5 inch shelves. A very nice sturdy product.

These heavy‑duty Kingsley shelf brackets were exactly what I needed. I had a 6‑foot long, 12‑inch wide piece of clear tempered glass left over from a shower remodel, and these brackets were perfect for turning it into a gorgeous shelf. The matte black finish against the clear glass looks absolutely beautiful — modern, clean, and high‑end.The brackets themselves are solid 5mm mild steel, very sturdy, and the pack of six gave me plenty of support for the long glass piece. Installation was simple, and the included mounting screws were strong enough to keep everything secure.If you’re looking for brackets that are both tough and stylish, these are a fantastic choice. These are very simple brackets, basically each just a painted piece of angle iron with screw holes, but they are exactly what I needed to put up a couple no-frills shelves. It is always a surprise to me what a difference an extra shelf can make in a crowded garage or bathroom.The price seems a little high to me, given how basic they are, but they solved a problem and that is valuable.

These shelf brackets exceeded my expectations. They’re made from thick, solid steel and have a durable matte black finish that looks clean and professional. As soon as I picked one up, it was obvious these aren’t the thin, flimsy brackets you often find, they have some real weight to them. I used them for a shelving project, and they are holding everything securely without any flex or wobble. The pre drilled holes were well aligned, making installation quick and straightforward. The included hardware was also a nice bonus and worked well. Getting them in a 12 pack makes this an excellent value, especially if you’re installing multiple shelves throughout a home, garage, workshop, or office. I would say these are a larger light duty bracket. For the size I would expect them to be a bit more rigid and able to handle more weight but they can bend decently easily. To that end I would consider where you are using them and not use it in a place that's going to have too much weight. By that I mean a display shelf is probably okay but a bookshelf is a bad idea. That said good value for what you get in the number of brackets that come in the set so that is nice.

These are really legit! When they say heavy duty in this case they're hitting the nail on the head! These come in a tightly packaged really heavy a box... And they come with pretty great little screws too! Highly effective combination!

The SYB Kingsley shelf brackets really are heavy duty. The 5mm thickness is a little more than 3/16in thick and each bracket weighs almost 1lb. I got the 4x8in brackets and I couldn't get them to flex by hand - most metal shelf brackets I've used are thin sheet metal that I can easily taco. Color me impressed. I have no doubts they'll support the listed weight (50lbs per bracket). The shelf mounting side has recesses on each side to allow for the included taper head screws to sit nice and flush, no matter if you hang them "L" up or down. The shorter shelf screws use a Philips, while the wall screws use a T25 Torx (bit included). I did have a few wall screws with excessive paint on them, gumming up the fitting on the head. This requiring some extra effort to get the Torx bit to seat properly, but wasn't a big setback. For what I've paid for junk brackets at the local hardware store, I think the $33 for 6 stout brackets is a great buy.
