I needed some weather stripping for a section on our front door. I don’t have very many tools nor experience how all this works so I needed something that was easy to install and didn’t require any tools. This was perfect for my little project. It’s a peel and stick and you can cut it to whatever size you need. I wanted to make sure it was going to hold up and not lose its adhesive and it’s been a couple of months now and it’s still adhered to the frame. I washed the whole door frame/jamb with a degreaser soap and then went over it with a cotton ball and alcohol and let it thoroughly dry before affixing. I also used the blow dryer for the adhesive to help it stick even better per the instructions. Super Easy!The material is dense and it feels very resilient. When I initially put it on, the weather was still cool and I definitely felt the difference. Before I put it on I could feel every breeze (sometimes hear it whistling) and during the winter I would shove either newspapers or paper towels in this section. But now it’s quiet and I don’t feel any air coming through the doorjamb. For my needs, this one little roll was enough to fix the draft. But it is a small roll and that is my only complaint. If you have a bigger project than that or multiple doors/areas that you need to put the weather stripping on, then I would suggest getting the larger quantity. It is good quality weather stripping and I would recommend it.

I originally ordered this weatherstripping for my front door because I’m about to have some work done on it. Right now there’s about an inch-wide gap underneath and around the sides where air gets in. Instead, I ended up using it on my living room window around my window air conditioner—and I’m so glad I did.I built a custom insert for my window because I wanted my dog to still be able to see outside. The accordion-style side panels that come with most window A/C units block the view, so I made my own clear window insert. I needed something to seal all the edges so rain, drafts, and bugs couldn’t get through, and this weatherstripping worked perfectly.It may look a little unconventional, but it created an excellent seal around both the window and the A/C unit. We’ve had several major storms this past week, and I was worried about water getting in. I’m happy to say everything stayed completely dry, with no leaks or drafts.The quality is outstanding. It’s much more durable than other weatherstripping I’ve purchased in the past. It doesn’t tear easily, the adhesive sticks extremely well, and it forms a nice, tight seal. I also noticed it helped reduce outside noise, which was an unexpected bonus.It’s a great value for the price. This worked so well that I’ll definitely be ordering more to use on my front and back doors as originally planned. So far, it’s the best weatherstripping I’ve bought.

I applied this around a side door where wind whistled through visibly uneven gaps, and the V profile turned out to be exactly the right tool, unlike the flat foam tape I tried before that only sealed where the gap happened to match its thickness, this V flexes and springs to fill the gap wherever it varies along the frame, and the whistle plus the draft are simply gone. The door also stopped its rattle in gusty weather, the compressed V cushions it snugly in the frame, and closing it now sounds softer and more solid. Installation genuinely is peel and stick, I wiped the frame down, cut the strip with regular scissors, and pressed it along the stops, the adhesive grabbed immediately and hasn’t lifted anywhere including the corners. I had enough length left to seal a drafty window and quiet a vibrating cabinet door, versatile stuff. The foam bounces back to its V shape every time the door releases it, no permanent crushing after weeks of daily open and close. Honest notes, measure your gap first, this is made for wider gaps and can make a tight door hard to latch. Mine arrived with minor creases from packaging that flattened out and haven’t affected the seal, as their own note admits. And in cold weather warm the adhesive before applying or it grips poorly. For sealing uneven gaps and hushing a noisy door affordably, this has worked well for me and I’d recommend it.

It worked out great. It sealed the door perfectly. The door isn’t totally even and this seal is flexible enough to make up for the difference in the size of the gaps. It was easy to install with the peel and stick adhesive. I was able to cut to size with scissors. It looks like it should wear well.
