This lock box comes with the option to mount it to a wall or hook it onto something (gate, door handle, etc.). It's easy to use and comes with very clear instructions on how to operate. While it has plugs for the latch part if you decide to wall mound, there are still 5 holes in the back that can be used for wall mounting that otherwise have no cover. If you decided not to wall mount, your keys are still vulnerable to heavy rains. Besides the waterproofing, it seems incredibly durable, and can fit numerous keys or other items in there. Given the similarity of quality to a previously owned $15 lock box, I'm not sure the price point is justifiable. But overall, it's a great option that's easy to operate.

Needed a key box for a house door. This worked great and was cheaper than I could find at the hardware store. It is simple to setup, easy to change the combo on, and works as a wall mount or door knob hanger. Would for multiple keys if needed. It is kind of big but I'd rather it be big then too small. Would recommend if you need a good key box

There's also a rubber insert included if you choose to remove the shackle mechanism. Received this in a lightweight cardboard box that had been shipped in an Amazon shipping envelope. No protection. So no surprise that the box was a bit crushed. But no matter, the lockbox survived just fine - not a scratch.The box is heavy-duty. All metal construction, feels very substantial. You won't get it open with wire cutters or screwdriver., so don't lose your combination. It has a heavy protective coating of paint. The dials and locking mechanism worked great out of the box. These are not very complicated. It took me one minute to set my combination, and it just worked.
