I'm pretty messy when I make anything and I have a bad habit of wiping paint on my pant legs. Pretty soon almost all my clothes ended up with paint on them from overestimating my ability to stay neat... and not accidentally taking a sip of my paint water.I really love that this has legs! I usually get paint on my pants more than my shirt so this is perfect and also comes in handy when I absent mindedly wipe paint on my pants.It's pretty lightweight so if you dump a ton of paint on yourself it could seep through, but with normal use that hasn't really been a problem for me so far. Plus I'll gladly trade that for a little bit of breathability and comfort when I'm working. It's durable for most crafts, I wouldn't rely on it for safety when using power tools but this is more about staying clean and not preventing an angle grinder from giving you the friction burn of all friction burns.It's moderately water resistant. Fine for painting and doing pottery. But it's not waterproof, but again I'll gladly trade that for breathability and more comfort when working.I love that it has three really deep vertical pockets! Super convenient when working on large pieces and great for builder's and sculptors who might be moving around a lot, I've never had an issue with anything falling out.Overall, especially cost per use wise, this is a fantastic buy and should be a staple piece in any art studio or craft room.

This pottery apron is completely adjustable. The neck, waist, and legs all have long ties to fit many sizes. The pockets are in ideal spots: front pocket for small tools, two leg pockets for larger shaping tools. The fabric is polyester and washes up cleanly and will last for some time. It also dries easily not holding onto moisture. The edges are folded and stitched to last.

For reference, I’m 5’6”, 130 pounds. This apron fit nicely. Due to the design, it would be appropriate for someone either quite a bit smaller or larger than me.There are ties around the neck, waist, and each leg. This makes putting the apron on extremely easy. There is no pulling it over your head or stepping into anything. It also makes the apron fully adjustable to not only your size but what you are wearing. The legs cover the front and sides of my legs. The quality is nice.The material feels like a medium thick canvas. There are pockets on each side on the bottom part and three thin pockets on the bib part, which would be perfect for holding pottery tools. I actually intend to use this apron to protect my clothes while I’m painting and the bib pockets are perfect for pencils, pens, and brushes.I’m very pleased with this apron for its quality, functionality, and design.

Great, sturdy apron with excellent coverage. I will be using mine primarily for painting, so I wont often need to tie the ankle ties—it will give good coverage for painting as well. I did try tying it at the ankles as well, and it looked cute and would keep clothes protected perfectly,The fabric is decent quality, thicker than most of my aprons, and I like the dark, slightly warm grey color. It has two rather small pockets. I immediately washed it when it arrived, and it washed beautifully. I hung it to dry and it was wrinkle-free. I haven’t painting in it yet, (and can’t test it because I’m not in my studio today) but it seems like it will resist spills and water.My only complaint is minor: I wish it had a different method of fastening around the neck. I may just add some D rings myself.
