These hinges are nice and heavy, like metal hardware should be. The matte black finish seems durable and keeps the small amount that’s visible looking sleek. The low‑profile design means you shouldn’t notice them much at all. They work smoothly without standing out. I used them for my pantry built‑in, which keeps the storage tucked away flush with the wall. The multiple mounting holes gave plenty of wiggle room during installation, so putting them in was no more of a pain than other door hinges. The pin turns silently with zero drag. The whole thing functions flawlessly and feels really luxurious.

I am pleased with these hinges. They are well made and seem to be heavy duty enough to hold a heavy door. Would I use them for a bookcase door? No. I don't think they would hold the weight of a bookcase door AND books that are in the bookcase. That being said, I can use these for a door that I just want the hinges to be hidden on. They are fairly easy to install if you know what you are doing. The instructions are not very clear but I have installed so many of these that it comes second hand to me now. Decent hinges at a decent price. I would definitely recommend these.

These are very high quality specialty hinges. They feel sturdy and durable and have no play or looseness in their joints and mechanisms. They have two shortcomings (listed below) which aren't dealbreakers but do prevent me from giving them higher than 4 stars.1. While every part of the hinge is incredibly solid and all-metal construction, the cover plates that conceal the installation/adjustment fasteners are made from cheap, thin, injection-molded plastic that visually contrasts with the hinges themselves and which significantly reduces the overall class and elegance of the assembly. These plastic parts also do not fit well in their intended position, and will likely pop out with any movement.2. The installation instructions are practically illegible and impossible to follow. For such expensive specialty hinges, the instruction manual could have been printed in color with crisp images and labels.All in all, if you feel confident in your router mortising abilities to hog out the door/frame material and properly seat these hinges and then adjust them with your intuition, and you don't mind the flimsy plastic cover plates, then I actually highly recommend these hinges, which I believe offer good value for the price.

These concealed door hinges are exactly what I needed to flip an exterior door to an outswing door. They resolve the issue of having exposed hinge pins on the outside of the building.These hinges are very beefy in construction with a solid metal body and a smooth operating opening/closing mechanism. I appreciate that they have additional micro adjustments for up/down, left/right and in/out to align the two hinges for proper operation. More critical on these hinges than traditional hinges is to make sure everything is square to the door and the hinges are aligned with each other. The one non adjustable part is if the hinges are installed at all rotated relative to the door edge, make sure the sides of the hinge align with the vertical edge of the door.

My husband has years of carpentry and woodworking experience, so I handed him the box and got out of the way.First standout feature: the mechanism is SILENT. Open it, close it. No resistance, no sound, nothing. It glided open smoothly and silently through its entire range of motion.BEST PART: the way it collapses into itself. Closed, it conceals almost completely. That’s the entire job of a concealed hinge.The zinc alloy construction feels substantial, making it heavier than expected. The matte black coating looks intentional and smooth, not painted-on. Three-way adjustability gives you room to fine-tune the fit after install, which anyone who’s ever hung a door knows you will absolutely need. The pack includes 16 black screws and allen keys, so you’re not hunting for hardware before you can start.THAT SAID: the 88 lb load capacity is worth thinking through before you order. For a standard interior bookcase door it will likely be fine, but if you’re planning a heavier solid wood build, calculate that ceiling before you commit.We haven’t installed these yet, so I can’t speak to long-term durability or how the 3-way adjustment performs in practice. Based on out-of-box quality alone (the mechanism, the finish, and the concealment engineering) these cleared the bar we set going in. I’ll update once they’re in the wall.5 stars for smooth operation and high end feel and weight.
