Love this water filtration system. Having a "cold" setting for a quick glass of water is great! The filtered water pitcher is a great capacity and refills fairly quickly. The only complaint is that the instructions DO NOT tell you that you have to have ALL covers in place before the machine will function, so you can't leave the fresh water cover off to refill and have it operate. It will only work when all covers are in place...

I use a ton of water for my dog and myself when cooking, but the water in my city’s pretty bad quality. When they built the building I’m in, they didn’t clear the pipes, so it’s always got this weird, mineral-y, gross taste. I’ve been using these pur water filters, but they only got rid of the chlorine and over minerally, the taste of the water. I’ve been reading up on reverse osmosis filters and heard they work way better. Plus, the UV light part sounds like it’d kill any bacteria or viruses, so that’s a plus.es. With the remineralization on the filter makes a huge difference. Without that, I don't think I would give it to my dog because while we need the minerals found in water. The water tastes great has no smell and I like the cold water feature. I have found that i've stopped drinking other things and drink more water. Because the water is so good.

This countertop reverse osmosis system is a pretty cool concept. You fill it with regular tap water, and it runs the water through its filtration and UV sanitation process before dispensing either ambient or cold water. Setup is simple, you basically plug it in, fill the tank, and let it run its cycle. My town’s tap water tastes awful, it's very metallic and almost chemical‑like so I don’t drink it at all. That’s why I thought this would be perfect for my home.Taste‑wise, the two water options are definitely different. The cold water tastes more filtered and “clean,” but it doesn’t actually come out cold or chilled like the listing claims.Ambient water has more of an earthy, natural taste. I originally thought ambient meant room temp, but when I looked it up, it said it’s meant to mimic a spring‑water flavor, which actually makes sense because “earthy” is exactly what came to mind.Everything worked fine for the first couple of hours, but then it started getting glitchy. It would say it was dispensing water even though nothing was coming out. I had to unplug it a couple of times to reset it, and then it worked again. Once it’s back up, it functions normally, so I'm not sure if it was a system issue or possibly human error though I honestly don't know what I could have did since it's a simple interface. It claims the filters last up to 12 months, which would be great if true. It also has a UV sanitation component, which I think is really cool. I’m still learning exactly how the UV and filtration stages work together, but the idea behind it is solid.Overall, it’s an interesting system with simple setup and good filtration taste differences, but the temperature claims and the glitching keep it from being perfect.

This reverse osmosis water filter + chiller is an excellent valuable product. It arrived well packaged and was very easy to set up. The startup process was simple and straightforward. The unit looks modern and blends with my other kitchen appliances. It also seems durable and well made. The water it puts out tastes incredibly clean and pure with none of the unpleasant flavors that we get with our sink water. I will never go back to buying bottles or drinking tap as long as I have this unit. The chiller is a great feature so I don’t have to add another pitcher in my fridge. I am drinking more water than I did before getting this because the taste is just right.Extremely happy with this item and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve the quality + taste of their drinking water. Well worth the money!

Upgraded from my first Leysern system and this one fixed a bunch of small annoyances I didn't even realize bothered me. The chilled water feature is the big win here. I drink iced water constantly and now my tumbler stays cold so much longer since the water going in is already cold instead of room temp. The dispense sizes make more sense too. Old one was 6, 12, 15, 33 oz which never matched what I actually wanted. New one is 4, 8, 12, 17 oz and it covers my usual pours way better. Only wish was a 32 oz option but I get why that's not realistic, dispensing that much cold water would drain the tank and the machine would need a while to chill back down to temp.Speaking of temp, it shows you the current water temperature on the display which I think is a nice touch. Lowest it gets is 42 degrees. There's also a countdown showing ounces as it pours, small thing but satisfying to watch.Filter is a different models number from the previous unit so I don't think they are interchangable. The replacement filters aren't out yet so I can't speak to longevity, but my old machine ran 11 months without needing a change so I'm not worried.Footprint is small for what it packs in. Mine sits next to my ice maker and coffee setup as a beverage station and it doesn't hog space. Tank is noticeably bigger than the old version too, I used to refill 2 to 3 times a day and now it's just once. Tradeoff is you dump out about a third of the tank as waste water each refill to keep TDS from settling, which feels like more waste than my old unit, but since I'm filling so much less often it balances out.Last thing worth mentioning, they added a handle for removing the filters. The old twist lock design was tough if you have any grip or dexterity issues. This handle gives you leverage so it twists off way easier.
