Great Temporary Wall Upgrade! This is a great solution if you want to spruce up a wall but can’t make permanent changes. The pieces are easy to install, and the peel-and-stick backing makes the process much simpler since there’s no need for nails, glue, or complicated tools. One thing I would recommend is having a laser level on hand. Even though installation is easy, getting all of the pieces perfectly straight and evenly spaced is what really makes the finished project look professional. Taking a little extra time to line everything up is definitely worth it.I also love that this can be removed, making it a great option for renters or anyone who wants to change up their space without committing to a permanent renovation.Overall, it’s an easy way to add some character and dimension to a plain wall without a major project.

I ordered this moulding kit to add a little drama and a traditional look to one wall in our foyer where we closed off a redundant dining room entrance. This is a well‑made set, and I really like the profile — it has the clean lines of a mini chair rail, which gives a classic finish without looking bulky. It’s also an economical set and will cover a wall up to about 10 feet, with plenty of flexibility in spacing. Before you even start, make sure your wall is clean so the product will adhere correctly. If you plan to paint the wall, this is the perfect time to do it while everything is still a blank canvas — two quick coats go on easily. If you’re painting the moulding itself, you can paint the pieces individually before installation or paint everything after it’s on the wall. I prefer painting after installation because I like a monochromatic look with walls and trim. Using the same color is forgiving, and if you’re careful, you don’t have to tape off the trim.Installation is genuinely easy, but a professional result still requires proper prep. If you don't own a laser level, I recommend buying or borrowing one to save yourself time and headache on lining the series of panels up top and bottom. Measure several times — once is never enough — and double‑check level and spacing. Making a mock‑up with craft paper or painter’s tape helps you visualize the final layout before committing. Once placed, the pieces adhere well and create a crisp, custom look. These seem durable once you have them in place, but instructions say they are very easy to remove with no residual damage using heat such as a hair dryer to soften the adhesive.Overall, this kit is a great DIY option for adding architectural interest without needing power tools or carpentry skills.
