I wanted to add a floor lamp to my living room, and when I came across this reading floor lamp, I liked what I saw right away. I went ahead and picked one up.When it arrived, it was well packaged and came in perfect condition, nothing damaged and nothing missing from the box. It does require assembly, so I set aside some time for that, and it only took about fifteen minutes to put together. Once it was up, it was a beautiful lamp. I placed it behind two theater chairs in my living room, and I use it in the evenings on the cool setting. It lights the area well without interfering with the TV at all. There are three light modes, warm, natural, and cool, and the main light adjusts a full three hundred sixty degrees, so getting the light angled exactly where I want it is not a problem. The base is solid too, it does not wobble at all, and the cord switch is simple and easy to use. The build is metal rather than plastic, and that comes through in how it feels, it seems like it is going to hold up a lot longer than the plastic lamps I have had in the past.This is a lamp that works for anybody, in any room, so I do recommend it if you are looking to add some good reading light to your space. Five stars, and I am glad I set aside the time to put it together.

This is a free standing reading lamp with three color temperatures to choose. The lamp is about five feet tall at its maximum height. There are four sections that thread together. You have an option to choose a lower height by omitting a section. The top piece is flexible which allows you to position the flat LED light source in a way that works best for you. A single page instruction sheet summarizes the features of this LED lamp.There are three color temperatures:  Warm 3000 kelvin, warm/cool mix 4000 k, and cool at 6000 k. Turning the power switch on, off, then on again cycles through the three choices.The light is fairly sturdy with its metal tubing. Having the ability to choose your color temperature is a nice option.I did find room for improvement. The power cord dangles from the four foot  level down to the floor. Having the cable loose makes for a probable tripping hazard. If the power cord were held in place along the upright support pole, perhaps using plastic retainers, this would greatly reduce that hazard.The other concern I have is with the lamp's base. It is not large, nor of adequate weight. I was able to easily tip the lamp with little effort, as seen in the last few seconds of my video clip. This is a potential hazard, especially around children. That base needs to be wider and heavier to insure the lamp will not fall over easily.

​I picked up this modern standing floor lamp for my art studio to help me keep creating long after the sun goes down. This is basically a no-frills floor lamp. It does have 3 light modes (warm, neutral and cool), each accessible with the single light switch. Each time you flip the switch, the light changes to the next light mode. Unfortunately, the floor lamp does not have a memory, so each time you turn it on, it defaults to the standard setting.The floor lamp does have a good flexible arm, so aiming the light at your desired subject should not be an issue. At 700 lumens, this floor lamp falls on the lower end of brightness for floor lamps, so its most suitable for focused lighted, not lighting up a room.The floor lamp has an 8" weighted base which is very light. This should be ok for placing it on a bare floor or very thin rug. But the small base along with its very light weight, would make it unsuitable for thicker rugs i.e. it would not be stable.Given its price point, I don't think this is a bargain by any means. There are brighter, more stable floor lamps within this price range, many of which have additional light modes, dimming capability, light mode memory, and a remote control.
