I bought this lamp for a side table in our living room because the corner always felt a little dark and unfinished. As soon as I set it up, the striped ceramic base gave the space a much more polished look. The pattern has enough detail to be interesting without making the lamp feel overly decorative.The size ended up being just right for my table. It has enough height to provide useful lighting while still leaving room for a few books and other decorations. I could also see it working really well as a bedside lamp because it doesn't overwhelm the furniture around it.I especially like the linen shade. In the evening, it softens the light nicely instead of producing the harsh glare we were getting from the overhead lights. I've started turning this lamp on while reading or watching TV, and it creates a much warmer and more relaxing atmosphere.The pull chain is another feature I've come to appreciate more than expected. I don't have to reach behind the table looking for a switch on the cord, and turning the lamp on and off is quick and simple. It's one of those small details that makes everyday use more convenient.Overall, I'm very happy with this lamp. It combines a distinctive ceramic design with practical everyday lighting, and it looks more expensive than I expected once it is set up in the room. It was an easy way to make a plain corner feel warmer, brighter, and more thoughtfully decorated.

I really love this set of ceramic lamps. They blended well with my existing decor. I placed one in the living room and the other in my office and they. The pull chain makes them easy to turn on and off and they have enough weight to them that i don't worry they'll tip over. The shade is secured with velcro, but i was able to turn that side to the wall so i don't see the seam. I also appreciate that the cord is clear and blends well against the wall.

The box makes these lamps look deceptively small before they're assembled. Once put together, they have more presence than I expected from the box—but they still aren't nearly as large or substantial as they appear in the marketing photo.Definitely pay attention to the actual dimensions in the listing rather than judging the size from the pictures. I'll take part of the blame for not reading the measurements more closely, but I do find the marketing photo irritatingly deceptive when it comes to scale. In that photo, these look like fairly substantial statement lamps. In person, I'd consider them more of a small-to-medium accent lamp.There is some very minor assembly required: screwing in the socket, adding a ring, and assembling the shade. Take the extra two minutes and look at the directions. The shade comes out surprisingly well if you follow them—especially Velcroing the shade together before adding the hoops. At first I thought I was going to be very disappointed, but once assembled, I was only mildly disappointed by a couple of small creases. I can rotate the shades so they're hidden or at least barely noticeable.The ceramic bases are actually one of my favorite things about the lamps. The textured design is crisp and looks nice in person. When lit, the shades also give off a warm, pleasant light. For shades that arrive needing assembly, I think the finished lamps look quite good.The proportions are a little different than I expected, with a fairly wide shade on a shorter base. However, the smaller size may turn out to be a happy accident for me. I'm planning to make some 2–3 inch round wooden risers for the bases to give them the extra height I originally expected. I actually think the wood underneath the white ceramic may make them look even better in my living room.Overall, I like the lamps themselves and would give them 4 stars. My biggest complaint isn't really with the lamps—it's with how their size is represented in the staged photo. The listed measurements may be accurate, but the photography gives a very different impression of their scale. Read the measurements, follow the shade assembly directions, and you'll have a nice-looking set of lamps.

At $60, this pair of ceramic lamps feels a bit on the high end and slightly overpriced. However, there was a $50 coupon available at the time of this review, which makes the value proposition much more reasonable for a 2-pack. The lamps themselves look very clean and aesthetically pleasing once set up.Build Quality, Pull Chains, and Wiring:The white ceramic base is exceptionally well done. The finish is smooth with zero defects, blemishes, or uneven spots in the glazing. Assembly of the electrical components is quick and straightforward; the socket screws right in, and the cord slides out smoothly from the side of the base. I really like the inclusion of the classic metal pull chain with a ball at the end. It adds a nice traditional accent and makes it super easy to locate the switch in the dark without fumbling around near the socket. Note that no light bulbs are included in the box, so you will need to supply your own standard E26 bulbs.Velcro Shade Assembly and Light Output:My biggest issue with these lamps is the shade construction. To save space in shipping, the shades arrive as flat material that you have to construct yourself. You clip two circular metal wire frames into the top and bottom edge of the shade fabric, make sure everything is aligned properly, and then velcro the seam closed to form the cylinder. While I understand this keeps shipping boxes compact and reduces transit costs, it is a bit annoying to assemble and the velcro seam does not look great up close. Luckily, you can hide the seam by rotating the lamp so the velcro faces the wall. Once lit up, the fabric shade diffuses light beautifully for bedtime reading without creating any harsh glare or hot spots.Size and Ideal Placement:At 21.3 inches tall, these lamps turned out to be a bit shorter in person than I had originally anticipated. I had planned to use them on end tables in our living room, but they felt a little small for that space. Instead, I moved them to the nightstands in our spare bedroom, where the scale works much better. They fit the bedside aesthetic well and provide plenty of comfortable light for evening reading.Overall, these are well-constructed, stylish lamps with great ceramic glazing and convenient pull chains. I love these lamps. These two lamps are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The green adds a very nice earthy touch to the room. They have a modern but also boho look to them. They were easy to put together. The lamp shades were a little tight in coming together. For the price of these lamps you could always replace the lamp shades. They are stylish and could work in any room you want to place them. They seem sturdy. One thing I really like is the pull chain. I have missed having one of those. They are not large. They are well proportion. All in all these are good lamps and look wonderful in any room.

I really like this set of lamps. The dark blue ceramic bases are attractive, the size works well for nightstands or end tables, and they have a nice farmhouse-style look without feeling overly rustic.My one piece of advice is to be careful when assembling the upper lamp hardware where the base connects to the socket and lampshade support. Make sure the threads are lined up properly before tightening everything down. I accidentally got mine slightly misaligned and ended up having to use a couple of tools to loosen and readjust the top section.Once I corrected that, everything came together nicely and the lamps looked great.Overall, I’m very happy with them. They’re attractive, sturdy, and a nice addition to the room. Just take your time during assembly and make sure everything is threaded straight before tightening.
