They Fit H706A But Not WellThey Fit H706A But Not Well

[Color: White, Size: 60, Color: White, Size: 60]
I took a photo of these on my Govee H706A lights (black) to show the fit. As you can see the lights do fit within the mounting clips; however, it isn't a snug fit. It seems that they may be for another version that is close to theseThe wires on mine can be pulled into the cutout but it takes a good amount of force to snuggly pull them in. Once they are in, they are secure. The mounts won't interfere with the light once they are mounted but they may allow for a little bit of play / sway in the light that may change how the light hits the houseI'm giving a 3 because they work but I would expect a closer / snugger fit for these mounts that don't allow for lots of air/dust to go around the light and the mount. If you have H706A there are better mounts that fit this version better that I'd recommend purchasing instead

Keeping spacing consistent for every light unitKeeping spacing consistent for every light unit

[Color: White, Size: 60, Color: White, Size: 60]
Precision matters when I put up lights. If the spacing is off, the whole thing looks messy at night. I went with this mounting kit for my H706 and H806 lights because I needed that perfect, snug fit. The kit includes 60 clips, and every single one of them was uniform, which made measuring the gaps between my lights much easier.I started by attaching the controller bracket to my exterior wall, and it mounted right up. From there, I worked my way along, snapping each light into a clip. The design is intended to take the pressure off the wiring, which is a major concern for me. I hate seeing wire tension on lights. These mounts hold the wire securely while leaving the light head itself perfectly positioned. The plastic material feels thick and durable. I have seen cheaper clips become brittle after exposure to the sun or freezing temperatures, but these feel like they have some real density to them. I used my drill for the main mounts, and the holes lined up without any misalignment. My setup is now symmetrical and looks professional. Having the controller and power boxes mounted on their own brackets also means I do not have a tangled mess of cables near the outlet. This was a successful project for my home.

Clips hold up well and actually stay put through weather

[Color: White, Size: 60]
I installed these on my outdoor light string and the clips fit snugly around each light. No wiggle room, which is what you want. The plastic feels sturdy and doesn't seem like it'll get brittle after a season or two sitting in the sun.Setup was straightforward. The clips snap on from the top, so you're not fighting with adhesive or trying to wedge things into tight spots. The mounting holes line up with what I needed, and everything went together without needing extra tools or modifications.Weather wise, these have held through some pretty heavy rain and wind since I put them up. The mechanical grip actually works. The clips lock the lights from above instead of relying on adhesive or clips that could slip, which makes a real difference when you're dealing with temperature swings and moisture.Wire management is decent. There are channels built into the system that let you route cables along the mounting surface instead of having them dangle everywhere. Keeps things looking cleaner and protects the wires a bit from getting snagged.Stability is solid. Once everything's mounted, nothing shifts or moves around. The controller bracket stays put where you mount it, and the power supply doesn't budge. That matters if you're running these for hours at a time.Only thing to watch is making sure you get the right kit for your specific light model. The fit is so precise that getting the wrong size would be a waste.

Why mechanical grips work for my exterior

[Color: White, Size: 60]
I spent way too much time cleaning off old adhesive residue from my house siding before I switched to this mounting system. Adhesives just do not work in the long run for exterior projects. I wanted something mechanical that would bite onto the surface and hold my lights. This kit for the H706 and H806 lights was exactly what I needed. With 60 clips in the package, I had more than enough to handle the entire run across my porch. The design of these clips is clever. They physically surround the light and lock it down from the top. I did not have to worry about them popping off. The installation process was quick once I got going.I mounted the controller bracket near my outlet, and it keeps that bulky box right where it belongs, high up and off the ground. The channels for the wires are also a big plus. I managed to hide the excess cabling inside the clips, which made the whole installation look much cleaner. I checked on the setup after a period of intense wind, and everything remained exactly where I put it. No sagging, no loose wires, and the lights are perfectly aligned.
