I'm excited to use this for a hidden door I'm adding to my downstairs pottery studio. I haven't installed it yet, so I can't speak to its long-term performance, but I've gone through the entire kit and am very impressed with what I've seen so far.The hardware feels substantial and well made, and I especially appreciate that this is actually a complete project kit rather than just a pair of specialty hinges. It includes the upper and lower pivot hinges, door catch, mounting and catch screws, screwdriver, gloves, and both a quick-start guide and installation manual.For a project like this, having everything together is incredibly convenient. You don't have to figure out all the miscellaneous pieces you'll need and purchase them separately.The instructions appear straightforward, and from looking through the hardware and installation process, it seems relatively manageable. I'll know more once my door is installed, but based on the quality, packaging, and completeness of the kit, I'm very pleased with it so far.

I got this for a project at my new place, so I haven't actually installed it yet. I can only speak to the quality of the hardware at this point, but my first impression is excellent.This is MUCH more substantial than I expected. The pieces are heavy, solid & definitely don't have that thin or cheaply made feel that sometimes worries me w/hardware ordered online. Everything looks well made & the set feels like it's designed to support an actual door rather than being lightweight decorative hardware.I'll update my review once I get to the installation portion of my project if I run into any issues, but based on the construction & materials I received, I'm very happy w/it so far.

Just built two large bookshelf doors, each capable of each holding a few hundred pounds of books. And these hinges carry this weight beautifully. I consider them a bargain for how well they perform.

This means that only 24" maximum sticks out into the passageway outside the workroom, and when open, there is a smaller space for a goat to sneak through.All the hardware needed for installation is included and the process was straightforward, especially because I built the doorframe from scratch and could figure out the best sequence of installation for my application. Once in, the door is supported securely and moves smoothly. The two door stops you mount on the door edges hold the door shut in most situations, and locking latches on each side keep goats out.I recommend this door hinge.
