We have tried a variety of anti-skid solutions for one of our living room sofas. The sofa has wood legs, and the rear set on the hardwood floor, while the front rest on a carpet. We have placed these on all four legs, and these are the best we have had so far to resist movement when the sofa is attacked by medium size dogs or growing grandkids!

As a professional reviewer, I've gotten several types of these furniture pads. These are a solid product. You get a lot of them (12) for $20. They are slightly on the high side but these are of excellent quality.Let me tell you the trick. You need to make sure you get the EXACT sized and shaped furniture pad. The problem is that with most furniture, you'll be able to see the furniture pads. And they don't look nice if they don't match.For example, these pads are circular. Many furniture feet are rectangular. As a result, with these, you'll end up seeing a circular pad underneath a rectangular foot. It doesn't look nice. ∴ So if your feet are rectangular, get rectangular pads.Moreover, get the right sized pad. If the pads are too big, it's going to look weird that you have these huge pads underneath a slim foot.BUILD QUALITY & DURABILITYThese are made of quality rubber. It's flexible enough so it'll bend and give a little so it won't scratch your floor. But it's durable enough to last your decades.FUNCTIONALITY/PERFORMANCE - REMEMBER THESE DON'T SLIDE!Unlike felt pads (that scratch the floor), these are rubber. As a result, your furniture won't slide. That's something to consider. When you need to move your furniture to a new spot, you'll have to take these off and THEN move your furniture. It's a slight hassle but more than worth it to protect your nice wooden floors.What's great about these is that the bottom layer of rubber is not too thick. Some furniture pads I've purhcased were too thick. They made the furniture too tall. Theses are perfectly designed to be thin enough so it looks pretty but thick enough so they don't tear.AESTHETICSThey look great on furniture feet that are circular (rare) or the feet are hidden.PRICEA little on the high side but not by much. You do get 12 of them, which is a lot.FINAL PURCHASE RECOMMENDATIONGet these if your furniture feet are circular or hidden. They work well!!*AVOID FELT PADS!!Don't make the same mistake I did! Avoid the floor pads made of felt. They will gradually scratch the poly coat of your wooden floors until they create a matte finish. You will get so mad at yourself a few years later when you realize what happened. (You can use the felt pads to move furniture though. Just don't leave them there afterward!)
