I needed Something to connect carpet bc mine started to pull apart. This was a perfect way to go on top and make It look like a great connector piece. I had To use different nails bc the screw given were too short. And needed To use a hack saw to size it- but I am So happy with how it looks and helped So I didn’t Have to pay thousands to replace the rugs

I ordered this heavy-duty aluminum transition strip to solve a very specific problem, and it has worked perfectly. My cats have a habit of accidentally shutting themselves in my bedroom when no one's home. Even though I have door stops installed, they still manage to close the door and then try to claw their way out by pulling up the carpet fibers under the door. They had already destroyed about a 1.5-inch by 30-inch section of carpet, so I needed something durable to cover the damage and prevent it from getting worse. This transition strip measures 36 inches long by 3 inches wide and is extremely sturdy. I needed a shorter length, so I cut about 6 inches off with a hacksaw without any issues. I was worried the cats would simply start tearing up the carpet in front of the strip instead, but it's been about a month since I installed it and they haven't touched the carpet at all. It has done exactly what I hoped it would. My only hesitation was the price. At $27.99, it initially seemed ridiculously expensive for what is essentially a piece of aluminum. However, after comparing similar heavy-duty transition strips, I found that this is actually the going rate for this size and quality. While it still feels pricey, the durability and effectiveness makes it worth the cost. It comes with everything you need for installation.

I needed a transition strip in the garage for my door to the outside and this was perfect. It was a perfect fit, but it can be cut for a custom installation. Very sturdy and good weight to it, too. It screwed into the existing threshold area and adhered well. It looks pretty nice in my old garage!

A threshold is a threshold, right? Not necessarily. We have a back door that annoyingly was installed too high leaving a gap at the bottom that let wind and rain in. Some thresholds, like the one we had, can't be "built up" to accommodate those gaps but this one is perfectly flat and a breeze (pardon the pun) to keep the elements at bay. Cutting to size, fitting and installation takes no more than putting good sweeps on the door. I couldn't be happier.Lightweight, yet seems to be strong. Exactly what we needed.

Came with everything I needed to easily swap out my threshold. It is a heavy duty aluminum with traction tread. It was simple to cut down to my door length with some tin snips. Came with anchors and screws. I did swap out the screws to tapcons since I was going into concrete. It's solid and good quality. It looks nice now and no more tripping. The aluminum is a good silver. The cost is worth it for this quality piece.

I got this threshold strip because I miscalculated the finished floor height when adding a room onto my cabin, and the new room ended up almost an inch higher than the rest of the building. Whoops! By the time I realized my mistake, it was too late to fix it properly, but this threshold strip turned out to be the perfect solution. It creates a smooth transition between the two rooms, so I no longer have to worry about tripping over the height difference. It also makes it much easier to roll chairs, carts, and other furniture from one room to the other. The threshold is made from heavy-duty aluminum, so I'm not concerned about it bending under heavy loads or coming loose over time. The polished aluminum finish also looks great and gives the transition a clean, professional appearance.
