These are super heavy duty, industrial strength castor wheels to mount to a bench or piece of equipment. The description says the set can support 1600lbs and I have no trouble believing that. They are extremely well constructed and even have zerk fittings for the swivel ball bearings, something I have not seen outside of expensive industrial equipment. All four wheels swivel and also lock which is perfect for something extremely heavy to be mounted on them and still be able to roll it around. The rubber on the tires is also pretty tough and should stand up on most hard surfaces. I can definitely recommend these, they aren't cheap and that matches their quality.

I had this huge, really heavy, really long, antique wooden ice chest/freezer. It's wood outside with liftable doors on top and tin-lined bins inside, about 14' long by 3' high by 3' wide, and it sat under the eaves of the barn at my grandfather's farm for literally 100 years. I LOVE it, and was lucky enough to get a house with enough space to put it inside, but it was so heavy and awkward that getting it in there was almost impossible. A friend of mine suggested putting wheels under it to finally make it "mobile", so I got these because they had flat mounting plates, so I could set them in more towards the center of each long side for support rather than at the exact corners, which would have left the center unsupported. They worked PERFECTLY. We lifted it with straps with a skid steer, easily installed these underneath with long screws while it was in the air, then sat it on a lowboy trailer, locked the wheels, and brought it to the house. These wheels are really solid and durable, and they rolled across the patio and even over the door jamb (with some heavy pushing, but still - they rolled perfectly smoothly), and swiveled easily to get this monster inside, around a corner, and into place in front of the picture window downstairs. I have both lockable wheels on the front facing into the room rather than both on one end. That way I can unlock them and move this out from the wall to clean and sweep behind it, and it moves easily and smoothly. I am so happy with these, they Are about $15.00 each and worth every dime for my heavy duty job.

Unlike hard plastic wheels that make a ton of noise and get stuck on every tiny pebble or extension cord, these roll smoothly and absorb vibration really well. The foot brakes are also excellent. They stamp down easily and lock both the wheel and the swivel completely, so your workbench or cart stays exactly where you want it.​At this price point for a set of four, the value is fantastic. You get the kind of rugged toughness you usually have to pay way more for at an industrial supply shop. If you want to put a heavy workbench, a tool cart, or a garage cabinet on wheels, these are a perfect choice. Just note that they do not come with mounting screws, so you will just need to grab a quick pack of bolts or lag screws from the hardware store to match whatever you are mounting them to.
