The included foam gasket is already attached, making installation incredibly easy. Was a bit hesitant to buy online since I needed it to match the color of a faucet I bought separately. Exactly what I needed. It shipped to me faster and at about 1/2 the price of what it would have cost me to order from Lowes. The size was true to cover up the extra holes in a 3-hole bathroom faucet installation and it appears to be made of good quality.

Perfect for any set-up that uses approximately a 10" to 10.5" faucet plate. It is good quality metal and has a foam insert on the underside. The chrome is perfect with no scratches or imperfections. We will be changing it out with our old one, since the chrome is coming off. It is the same size as the American Standard kitchen faucet, and will install just as easily as the original. It is completely flat and sits on the faucet deck with no gaps. It is long enough to hide the extra holes in the base and looks much nicer and cleaner than what is already there. On the high side as far a price, but seems to be better quality, and looks like it would function with many different types and brands of faucets.

I’m so excited that this is actually metal and has a gasket on the underside. We have replaced our faucet once since we have been in our home and the chest deck plate was metal but the second one was plastic. Over the years it has warped and pulled up on the sides and so I am excited that this one will last for a long time because it is stainless steel and the fit is close enough and in all honesty, this will be much easier to clean without worrying about the finishing coming off the plastic. Installation seems to be simple enough and it is definitely worth the price to have a sturdy and stable base to not have to worry about water leaking under it. It definitely is a stable and sturdy metal piece and will definitely make my kitchen look nicer. This is great buy.

I have a sink in my utility room with an old-style faucet. Not long ago, I ran across a great deal on a new, single-handle faucet, and I've wanted to install it, but I knew it wouldn't look good. I ordered this plate as soon as I saw it. It covers the extra holes in the sink, and the finish matches the faucet. A perfect fit. Now I have the convenience of a single flow of water with cold and hot water, premixed to the exact temp I need. No, wait, the original fixture was a single faucet, but I had to play with the round knobs (handles) to get "warm" water. So, yes, keeps me from burning my hands, and it's so much more convenient! Stainless Steel all the way!!!

It is sturdy and durable, and it seals around the faucet precisely as it should. As shown in the pictures, it fits the faucet perfectly. Initially, I was concerned that the hole might be too small, but it turned out to be a perfect fit. My only minor issue with this plate is the foam piece that they attach underneath. I’ll definitely need to use caulking to seal and prevent any leaks underneath the plate. Since it’s used in a utility sink, we rinse various items in there. The last plate we used also had the foam piece, and I didn’t use caulking. Over the years of rinsing out paintbrushes and splatters, the foam piece developed a bit of mold.This Faucet Deck Plate is PRICED in the usual range.

It is much sturdier than I expected. Not long ago I switched out a faucet and needed an escutcheon plate of this size. Looking around I found many having not bad prices to those so expensive it was unreal. The one I settled had metal that was thinner than this is and left me wary of its long term potential. Much as I don't feel like removing the faucet to switch the plates, I may do so soon. The strength of this one's metal alone gives me great confidence in its overall performance in the long run.The approximate dimensions of the plate:Length - 26.5cm/10.43inWidth - 6.5cm/2.60inHeight - 1cm/0.39inThe foam insert is just a fraction smaller, in all directions, than the space beneath escutcheon itself. It fits inside/underneath well, with no obvious gaps, while not being so tall that it keeps the plate from sitting flush with the sink.The metal of the escutcheon does not flex with ease. It takes quite a bit of force to make it even begin to move. This is optimal, as the strength of the plate drastically affects the overall strength of the connections between the sink and the faucet. In turn, the stronger these joints are, the better everything will perform without, hopefully, causing any single part to fail/crack/etc.The foam insert is a heavy duty one. It is not totally rigid, but is very close. The insert does two things. First, it bolsters the strength of the plate alone, while adding to the overall solidity of the joints. Second, it acts as a gasket that creates a seal between the escutcheon plate, faucet and sink. It covers any holes other than the center one of a three-hole sink, unless your sink is quite large or small in which case you ought to look for a different size to accommodate your sink's specific dimensions. Without the foam you would more than likely have a good bit of water making it through the spaces between the escutcheon plate, faucet and sink, which in turn would drip into/onto whatever is below the sink. Plus the plate wouldn't hold the faucet as well and multiple failures might occur. Simple part, complex outcome. The foam is an integral part of the whole.The edges of the metal are well done, with the center hole having a nicely curved and rolled profile that should not cause any harm to your faucet. It ought to add a bit of strength to both the escutcheon and the base area of the faucet.I really like this product. It's definitely a good buy at the current price. What you get is well worth the cost.Made in China
