This was really nice. It fit well and was good quality, it didnt feel bulky and it isnt too heavy either.

Great quality flashlight holder. The strap is real leather, and it's thick. It should last a lifetime for sure. These are also made in the USA and I really like that aspect. The snaps hold very securely. They snap down super tight and require actual effort to undo, so I'm not worried about this randomly falling off my belt when I'm moving around. The flashlight hoop fits all my D-cell lights perfectly. It works with both the long and the half length versions I have, so it meets all my needs. This is definitely heavy-duty enough for either duty work, or recreational purposes, and I would surely want one again if I had a do-over. I thank you for the opportunity to try it and find out.

The JAY-PEE (odd name) Black Leather D-Cell Mag Flashlight and Nightstick Baton Ring Holder is a solid, well-built duty accessory that performs exactly as expected. The leather feels thick and durable, and the overall construction gives off a professional, long-lasting impression right out of the package. The double chrome snap system is strong and secure, making it easy to attach and remove from a Sam Browne belt while still holding firmly during movement. Once mounted, it stays in place without shifting, even during active duty or long shifts. The metal ring strap is sturdy and properly sized, fitting my flashlight and baton securely without being too tight or loose. It allows quick access when needed, which is important in field situations where speed and reliability matter.I also appreciate the Made in USA quality, which is noticeable in the stitching and hardware. Everything feels reinforced and built for regular, demanding use rather than casual wear.Overall, this is a dependable and professional-grade belt carrier that offers excellent durability, secure retention, and practical functionality for law enforcement, security, and duty use.

The strap is good quality. The snaps are stiff and definitely hold well. As it gets used it does loosen up and becomes easier to snap and unsnap. It’s made in the USA. The leather strap is thick and solid.I got this to snap to my son’s wheelchair, so he can put his sword in it to be in arms reach. It works perfect without adding bulk to the side.

This fits fine on a regular belt and works great for walking the dog. When it's not dark quite yet, you want a flashlight but don't necessarily want to sacrifice your free hand until it's actually dark and the light is necessary. This is a great solution for that. We also use a light on the dog collar for safety, and for times when the flashlight has to be put away to free up both hands for clean-up duty.My star ratings explained:5 - Outstanding intersection of price and quality, an excellent product for an excellent price. Absolutely recommend.4 - Good product at a good to reasonable price, no major complaints. It may have some minor flaws or areas for improvement, but I would still generally recommend for most people or for situations specifically covered in the review. Excellent but overpriced products may also land here.3 - Aggressively mid for some reason, either the product itself, poor enough listing that it impacts customer experience, or price high enough that I would tend not to recommend on that basis. For example, clothing listings with lack of size chart or pieces that do not conform to the size chart may land here, as will clothing with questionable fabric or construction. Jewelry with a listing that plays fast and loose with terminology as compared to the actual product in a mild to moderate way may also land in this range. I do not generally recommend, but there may be some niche circumstances where it would be of potential use.2 - Not even mid. Something here is not matching up with the description, or the quality is so poor that I cannot in good conscience recommend it in any situation I can think of. Descriptions might be poor enough not only to impact customer experience, but play fast and loose with terminology in a particularly egregious way.1 - If I'm giving a one-star review, there is something WRONG, and I believe it to be intentional -- eg not the fabric described, not the materials promised (esp with regard to leather, cashmere, silk, or jewelry), or similar issue such that I would tend to recommend avoiding the product altogether. I don't just not-recommend this, I anti-recommend this.
