This high visibility rain suit from VUVEA is more of a medium-duty than heavy-duty rain suit, which is better suited for south Louisiana’s climate. We have had quite a bit of rain the past few weeks and temperatures in the mid to upper 90’s. Living on a farm can be a solitary life, with just my wife and me, so I wear just the rain suit alone, the rain hitting the suit keeps me cool enough to not sweat nearly as much. The suit is lightweight and true to size, making it easier to move without restrictions. The pants have no pockets and the jacket has a patch pocket with a flap on each side which can get wet inside when you put your hands in the pockets. Still, I like the rain suit and it is reasonably priced.

That level of visibility is absolutely necessary when working near traffic, in bad weather, or anywhere else being overlooked could become dangerous.The jacket and pants feel heavy-duty and well made, with plenty of pockets and compartments for keeping smaller tools and essentials close at hand. More importantly, the suit has kept me bone dry even during some pretty heavy storms.The material isn’t the most breathable, so it can trap some body heat and add a little warmth. That may be helpful in cooler weather but could become uncomfortable during warmer, more physical work. Still, that’s a reasonable tradeoff for the protection it provides.Great quality, excellent visibility, and reasonably priced for a complete jacket-and-pants set. This two-piece rain suit is lightweight and has a few adjustments to fit different body shapes. The hood to cover the head can be rolled and tucked in the pocket at the back of the neck collar. The hood has a draw string to wrap it around the face. There is only one pocket that is see-through on the left chest area; there is a flap at the top of it to cover but no hook and loop to keep it tight. It fits perfectly to have it on all by itself; if you want to put it on top of a layer clothes you may have to go for a bigger size. The pants have elastic waistband and in addition there is a string to tighten it more. There are buttons at the ankle to keep the splashing water away. Overall it will offer protection in a light or heavy rain but you need to have a waterproof bag to carry all your gadgets and necessities.

This bright yellow, hi-visibility safety wear set seems of very good quality, and really is waterproof. Waterproof garments are, of course, the opposite of breathable, so I can't say that it's exactly 'comfortable', per se; but, it's currently August in Oklahoma, so that might have something to do with it, lol... not a lot of rain here currently, and very, very humid and hot. Trying this on made me quickly feel like I was drowning in my own sweat. In more forgiving conditions/milder weather, I can tell this set would be great to wear for practical and safety purposes. The reflectivity of the stripes is impressive... most definitely, you will not be overlooked if wearing this at night, or in the day. (Please see included pic.) It seems true to size, as well as the fit/cut/style is relaxed enough that it can be worn as intended– (I assume) as outerwear, OVER your regular clothes, as an additional, waterproof, protective(-ish) layer. They feel durable, can pretty much be 'wiped clean', (to an extent), and they serve their purpose well. All-in-all, I'm happy to have these, and I will definitely be wearing them when appropriate.

The quality is truly professional-grade, exactly like what you see the road crews using at night.We had a complete deluge of rain the other day, so I finally gave it a real test. The fluorescent yellow color is extremely bright and the wide reflective strips make it highly visible, which is great for working around traffic, construction sites, roadside emergencies, or any situation where safety is important.The jacket has a full front zipper with a snap storm flap over it to help keep water out. It also includes an attached hood with drawstrings (which can be folded and tucked away in a hidden compartment on the neckline), adjustable snap cuffs, a clear ID badge pocket on the chest, and large front pockets with protective flaps. The pants have an elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring, wide leg openings that make them easy to pull over boots, and reflective bands around the lower legs.The material feels more durable than many inexpensive rain suits I’ve tried but thin enough that you won’t overheat in hot weather. It has a sturdy waterproof feel without being overly stiff, and the seams appear well stitched. The inside of the pant cuffs also has a mesh lining, which is a nice touch for comfort.One feature I especially appreciated is how generously sized everything is.
