These smart plugs were pretty easy to set up and have been working well. I really like having two outlets in one plug because I can control more than one device without taking up extra wall space. The app control is convenient, especially when I want to turn something on or off without walking over to it. The energy monitoring is also a nice feature. Overall, simple and useful for everyday home use

These work super well. Two at this price was spectacular. I love that they have the buttons for each of the outlets on the unit. It is really well designed and works great.

I've been looking for a smart plug with energy monitoring for a while and had some good hopes for this, but it failed at good energy monitoring.It was easy to set up the Tuya app, but a little more difficult for the app to find the outlets to add them. Once that was sorted, controlling the outlets was seamless.The help with knowing which plug was which, I set them up and labeled them appropriately with some trial and error.The monitoring was really a letdown. It really isn't real-time and the data cannot be exported to be analyzed and not much analyzing is happening in the app. It also only shows the energy consumption at the device level, not the single outlet level, so if you're using two devices on one outlet, it will show the total vs each one separately.These are best used with devices which have a manual on/off switch vs being remote controlled. It turns your phone into a remote for your device.

I'm a smart home enthusiast, couldn't pass on this product. Like the majority of Chinese smarthome products it is tied in Tuya ecosystem. I try to avoid proprietary products that don't work without Internet connection in favor of standards like Zigbee or Matter that don't expose your home network to who knows who. But the price was right and I have a separate network for the cloud dependent devices. To their credit, the plug control works incredibly fast considering that command have to go through Internet. Almost as fast my Matter switches. But the power monitoring, that was my sole driver for this order disappointed. I though it would monitor each plug separately, but no, only one common monitor. The power reading is about 5% higher compared to a TP-Link plug.The plug works in Home Assistant, it even exposes the line voltage, not visible in Tuya app.Country of origin- China.Here is how I rate:5 Stars: Excellent product that meets all expectations. We already run the Smart Life app for other devices around here, so I went in expecting the usual fussy pairing dance. Didn't happen. The second the app started searching, it found the plug — detected the right device, no wrong guesses — and it was one of the easiest setups we've had with that app, period.It behaves like the smart power strips we already use: you can control both outlets together, on or off, or each one individually. That means it shows up under three names in the app, which sounds like clutter but is actually handy once you're used to it. Works with Alexa too, through the Smart Life skill.One thing to note before you buy, because it caught us off guard: the prongs are on the side, not centered on the back like we assumed. It doesn't change how it works at all, but if you're planning to put this into a power strip or a tight spot, that placement might matter for whether it physically fits your setup. Worth a look at the listing photos with that in mind.Right now I've got one in a power strip running a Bluetooth speaker, so I can cut power to it without digging through the phone's settings. We have a lot of Bluetooth speakers, and it's easier to just kill the power than to sort out pairing confusion every time. Does exactly what I wanted it to.
