A little tight for a 4x4 post but is doable. I like that lag bolts & screws were included. Just 1 post base at a big box store is $15.

I needed a cheaper solution than paying $17 each as I had to put in a lot of theseTurned out that these are really rugged and felt strong, and we were perfect for showing up the basement and keeping timber off the ground

Great so far.Came with expanding concrete anchors and screws to go from base into the wood (I'm using galvanized so I'm not using those provided. )

These are great quality, worked well with the 6" x 6" (actually modern 5.5" x 5.5") posts well. I am still building the pergola and these have made getting the 6 primary supports posts even stronger. We get a lot of rain here and I didn't want posts in the ground, so we poured the footings and put these brackets in place. It's been easy to secure the posts in place as we make progress.These have been in place for several weeks and I haven't seen a hint of rust, so these to seem to be actually galvanized - not always the case with some things that claim to be.Durable and a decent price for the set of 6.

I haven't installed these post bases yet, so I can't comment on their long-term performance, but my first impression is very positive. They're made from thick galvanized steel, feel solid and sturdy, and the welds and finish look clean and well done.The 1-inch standoff design should help keep wood posts elevated off the concrete, and all of the brackets in the set appear to be consistent in size and construction.Based on the quality of the materials and workmanship, they seem like they'll hold up well once installed. I'll update my opinion if anything changes after they've been in use, but so far I'm pleased with what I received.
