Great price for a pack of three. These are not "heavy duty" in the sense that they will prove difficult to cut or stop determined thieves, but they are substantial enough to prevent any animal or human from breaking them without mechanical assistance. The carabiners are a nice touch and make it very easy to cinch them to your desired length. I am using them on the inside of a barn door that is unreachable from the outside so they work well for me.

Living out in the country on acreage, there are plenty of times a length of chain like this comes in handy. Securing gates, door swing limiters, hanging things, etc.These stainless steel chain are a good length and size for a variety of light to medium duty uses. The addition of carabiners makes it so you don't need to source extra parts and can use them as-is.For the money these are tough to beat. Will update if they do not hold up to the elements (rust).

I secure everything with chains. I've never hung or attached anything with a chain and had it break, although you have to be realistic about how much force you are going to apply. These three short gate chains with their attachment carabiners are a nice package for securing things where you might otherwise use a strap or cord. I used it here to attach scaffold stairs corner to the scaffold frame to keep it from wandering. I suppose the carabiners could be slightly more beefy.

Wish I had a nickel for every non-farmer/rancher type who has let themselves onto our property uninvited, and then, just to add to the ignominy, leaves the gate open behind them. I mean it's not as if we don't have a veritable Noah's Ark grazing and wandering around here, and there are signs everywhere basically warning that we don't want any of whatever they think we need. I truly believe its the result of too many putting their septic too close to their wells, and that leads to excess nitrates in their water, which is bad for brain development, and that leads to stable genius, but I digress.Adding a second and third chain to our existing bits that slip into a slotted steel plate seems to befuddle too many of our uninvited visitors, so I'm hoping these will encourage better behavior, after they've ignored all of our signs, but I've no doubt the carabiners' function will doubtless confound more than a few and I'll next be seeing where they've resorted to trying to tie the chain in a knot, but again I digress.These are made of the right size links that they'll engage on our chain slot catches, and of course the stainless steel carabiners work just as well. The length is good in that they can reach to wrap a post or to join with another gate, and the chains themselves being stainless steel will keep everything nice and rust free. For about five bucks for a stainless chain that includes a pair of stainless carabiners I think these are a pretty decent value for the money that will be around long after I'm gone.
