Anyone that has a Leatherman tool is already in a group that is looking for utility and function. This makes the Skeletool even better. The additional bits are nice (and are flat, so they can be loaded into the unit itself or the extension). The extension can take full-size bits, which is also nice (although there is no way to hold them in the tool or additional bit storage). The included bits are nice, and they have printing on them that details their size -- which is a nice touch. The extension has a magnet in it, which is also helpful. The finish and quality seems tough enough for use as a tool.The one complaint that I have is that the extension does not lock into the tool itself. The Skeletool uses a small groove around the bits to help hold them in place. The extension does not have that groove, so it can just be pulled out. This is a minor complaint, but it is one that is easy enough to rectify in the design stage and would make the tool even better. Other than that, no complaints!

This is a handy little kit to have on hand if you own a Leatherman Wave+ or other multitool capable of accepting the Leatherman flat bits. The Torq bits are a unique style bit that aren't super easy to find, so it's great to get them in this little kit. You may never have a use for them, but you will have them if you do! If you don't want this style bit, there are other bit options available as well. The bits will fit directly into the bit holder of the Wave+ or can be used with the provided extension.The magnetic bit extension works like a charm. It fits in the Leatherman bit holder of the Wave+ perfectly and stays in place reasonably well. The extension is of good quality and manufacture. It's probably not the strongest in the world, but you wouldn't be able to apply a tremendous amount of tension through the Leatherman without damaging the Leatherman anyway. It's a pocket tool, after all. In addition to working with the supplied bits, the extension will also accept standard 1/4 inch bits.For less than $30, this is a great deal. 5 double-sided specialty bits, an extender and a storage piece for the bits come in this kit.

I bought this bit set to use with my Leatherman and it has been a great addition to my tool kit. Every bit fits securely and the magnetic holder keeps everything in place while I am working. The bits feel solid and well made and I have not noticed any signs of wear after using them on several small repair jobs. I also like that each one is clearly marked so I can grab the right size without wasting time. The extension holder is a nice bonus because it makes reaching tight spots much easier. Everything stores neatly and does not take up much space which is perfect for carrying in my toolbox or backpack. Whether Im fixing something around the house or working on a quick project outside this set has been very useful. Overall the quality is better than I expected and I would definitely purchase it again if needed.

Nice set of supplemental bits with a convenient SINGLE-layer holder unlike other brands that use thicker double-sided ones that take up too much space if you only need to carry a few bits with you instead of a huge collection. The extension is a nice touch and is made from steel not aluminum, so should hold up well for daily tasks. These bits are unusual Torq-set sizes that are missing from the official Leatherman bit kits as well as other aftermarket sets I've purchased in the past, so this is a great little set to round out the tool arsenal.

The bit extender fit well with almost no play and was able to take all the 1/4" bits I tried in it as well as the regular leatherman style flat bits. The Torx bits worked on the torx screws I could find that were exposed enough. There's also enough extra slots in the holder you can fit another 6 bits so if you have some loose bits lying around this can help. So far it's worked well and the bits seem to work fine. I'll report back if anything happens.
