Just measure and put up your project.I really liked how they even show you numerous ways to plan your blinds. I got a few ideas for my patio from that alone.If you have someone who is handy and willing to make these work for you and whatever you have envisioned then this kit is what you are looking for.Depending on how big the area is, you may need more than one kit to accomplish your task.Not having to wait for a contractor to build some building and cost $$$ but instead get it done with something easier and less strain on the wallet, always a plus!This is my honest opinion of an acquired Vine Product.

Purchased two of these sets to block the sun coming in from my patio and they work incredibly well.Installation itself only took a few minutes on my cedar structure, most of the time was spent measuring beforehand. The brackets are strong metal and the screws included are good quality. The louvers feel firm and move all the shutters smoothly.I've received so many compliments on them. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to block sun on a patio or deck area.

I used this louver bracket kit to create a louvered skirt around my raised deck, and it worked out beautifully. I was able to use leftover boards from my deck project, which made this a very affordable way to add both privacy and a more finished look to the underside of the deck.The brackets feel sturdy and durable, and the black finish gives the finished project a clean, modern appearance. Once everything was assembled, the louvers felt secure and operated smoothly. I also like being able to adjust the angle of the boards depending on how much airflow or coverage I want.My only complaint is that the instructions could definitely use an overhaul. They are not nearly as clear or detailed as they should be, so expect to do some measuring, planning, and figuring things out as you go. Fortunately, the actual system is fairly straightforward once you understand how the pieces fit together.Overall, this is a solid, well-made kit that helped me turn leftover decking into a functional and attractive deck skirt. I am very happy with the final result and would absolutely use these brackets again for another outdoor project.

The louver kit showed up fast and was well packaged and no damage all the arts were there.I purchased the Louver Bracket Kit for my deck as we wanted more privacy and I couldn’t be happier with the results. These are really neat. I am familiar with the rough concept. I've always liked the aesthetic. It's both beautiful and practical. I have set up an outdoor hot tub setup. I couldn't decide between solid walls or open Windows to be able to see out. I like the visibility for a good view, but I also like the privacy.So I got these to try for finding a happy compromise in the middle. This way I can have it either way depending on my mood. At night time I will close them so that way it's not easier for people to see in with the inner lighting I have. During the daytime I will open them since it will be much easier for me to see outward where it's sunnier and much harder for people to see inside where it's shaded under The canopy.These are very easy to mount. The wood is easy to set up with them. However the most important part is proper measurements. You will definitely want to be precise on that so everything alliance with each other and you don't have any diagonal boards. So you'll definitely want to make sure you check all of your boards to make sure they are as free as possible.

I have grand plans of installing these on my front porch to give us a bit of privacy from the neighboring properties. Can’t complete them quite yet, as I need more kits for the space, but everything here looks great & should be easy enough to do. The instructions are a little hard to read, as there’s a bit of broken English & a lot of blurry dark images. I do get the basic gist though, just not as clear as it should be.All of the parts & pieces comes packaged neatly in a sturdy box. The black finish looks nice & durable. I’ll try to remember to post an update once they’re fully installed, but my dry run went well with this kit. Made in China.

I don't currently have any larger enough 1x4 scrap wood laying around, or I'd have included a picture of what this louver bracket kit looks like installed, but this isn't my first set of louvers I've purchased. I've a massive covered back deck that every winter I hang plastic up to keep out the elements, and rip down every spring, but then come summer, I've nothing up to shade from the heat as the sun moves across the deck all day long. So, in a future project when we finally replace the decking with a watertight floor, I'm going to make essentially a version of plantation shutters with hinged frames for all the louvers that open inward, so screens can be placed on the outer side for warmer months, and plexiglass storm windows can go in during winter and create a more usable climate controled exterior space.This set of louver brackets and hardware are well made and perfect for use on exterior covered spaces. Everything is coated to protect from the elements.The instructions look like there a copy of a copy of a copy, all from black and white photo copiers, which means they're very dark and hard to see the imagery and could be a problem if you've never worked with linking louvers together, so just get familiar with the process before starting your project.This set is priced great and with properly stained wood, will last a long time!
