This all in one product combines a low voltage brush plate with a 15A outlet. This is perfect if you wall mounted your tv, but have the cords running down the wall. If you've done electrical work before, this is easy to install. The box itself has a low voltage plate on the brush side and a high voltage box built into the outlet side. This makes fishing the low voltage cables a lot easier. My favorite part is the recessed mount, with the outlet at an angle allowing the box to fit recessed in a 2x4 wall. If you have a shallow mounted tv, this will protect the product cord, however 90 degree cables might not fit.This is decent quality - better than a 3d print but not quite as rugged as a pvc electrical box. Once installed it looks better than a low voltage and high voltage box separately on the wall.Note that you will need to get your low voltage wires in the wall somehow, which is where the single gang low voltage box and second brush plate come in to play. This mounts where your cables originate.

This comes with everything you need to run wires through the walls for your TV. I used this as part of a larger install where I also moved my receiver off the top of the TV console.Installation is pretty easy. The included instruction card is *almost* a template card for where to cut. I made a masking tape template instead. To do that make a square of tape against the back of the in wall plates where they’ll be inserted inside the flange and then position them on the wall. I used my existing receptacle instead of the included electrical box and I was able to simply slide it into the opening for that without disassembling the receptacle.The included electrical box may not be up to spec but it worked just fine for the brush plate so I used it there instead of the low voltage plate. It gave me some space to coil up extra wire.As a heads up you’ll want to use a standard size faceplate with the TV side receptacle as the mid size I had in place didn’t fit well.The included receptacle works fine, is UL listed, and is installed in the unseen portion of my build below the cabinet.
