This all-in-one pass-through Ethernet crimping tool is perfect for making your own network cables. Works as expected: all in one tool for crimping and cutting ethernet cables (and telephone wires as well). My only issue is that the opening for RJ45 for the extra wire dump (cutting side) is a bit small which can cause some of wires to inadvertently get caught inside the cutting area resulting in a partial cut. Crimps connectors securely and quickly and the wires have a very nice clean cut when done. The stamped guide in the tool is also very useful to ensure that the wires are in the proper order inside the connector before crimping.

This pull through all in one ethernet crimping tool is perfect for making your own cables. It has a cutter on it, and the pull through function works perfectly which saves a lot of time when working. I used it to make at least 5 cables and every one came out flawlessly. This tool is truly a very useful one to have with you are dealing with a lot of ethernet crimping. The tool is also quite small with is great for just throwing it into your bag for easy transportation.Overall it is a very good little tool to have with you and works very well, 5/5 stars

RJ11/12 connectors are something of a relic these days. I don't have any connectors to test, nor do I think I have any devices that even use then. My printer/fax probably does but there's nowhere to plug the other end of the cable in.I tried RJ45 connectors, I think they're CAT5 as they're older and this tool worked fine. I only have a few pass-through connectors so I don't want to waste any right now, but I can't imagine why this tool wouldn't work fine on those. They still crimp the same as non-pass-through, the only difference is that the excess ends of the wires are automatically cut off for you.If you haven't used pass-through connectors, they're so much easier to use and probably aren't any more expensive than older style connectors.The only improvement that I could suggest is a little compartment or clip or something on the tool to store the extra cutting blades. If you're a professional who crimps tons of connections each day you might want a more heavy-duty tool, but for someone like me who only needs to do that occasionally, this is a perfectly good tool for the job at a reasonable. price.
