Works great and can be mounted a ton of ways if you're creative.

This looks like it was completely manufactured by using 3D printers. The spool stand is very functional and withstands the stress of solder being pulled off the spool. The bottom table clamp section also stands up to tightening to a table top. My only complaint is that the gap should be two inches wider to accommodate wood tables. I strongly recommend NOT using channel lock pliers to tighten the bottom bolt, just use your hands to tighten it, remember it is totally plastic.

What I like:-It works-Can hold up a pound of solder when used horizontally-Matches color in picture-has a tangle prevention barWhat I dislike:-It is 100% 3d printed-Does not clamp to my specific working area as mine is too thick.Things to note:-the bolt has a minimum clamping thickness as well as the maximum, (Max is displayed in item listings pictures) if your workspace is a thinner surface such as say a card table, you will not be able to mount in a vertical orientation with any degree of tightness.
