Excellent features for freestanding tub.

[Color: Matte Black]
This bathtub drain outlet is for tubs that have a freestanding bottom and internal drain thread. The entire piece does not appear to be solid brass. The solid brass is for the middle element that holds the plug and hair catcher. The rest is coated and uncoated stainless steel. It’s easy to install, fits securely, and the push stopper is an awesome feature that secures well and makes draining water easy.

Thick material compared to other, nice finish and cool catch features makes it a solid value.

[Color: Brushed Gold]
Picking out a solid drain is important because of all the abuse they get and seeing this fully brass brushed gold drain was a perfect choice. I have gotten 2 other drains that had thinner walls and the finish was not the best but this one was such a premuim feel it was a nice surprise but then this drain was 10 to 15 bucks more so the quality certainly shows. The functionlity of the catch and strainer built in is nice the only down side is you need to constanly be checking it so it doesnt clog. the haird catching works along with catching everything else. the thickness in the material and contruction really shows on the durability its going to have. the finish gives it such a nice apperance that matches al the other brushed gold hardware I have in the bathroom. the cleaing is easy so its not a just deal just more work. overall its worth spending a little more and getting something way better that will last.

Nice looking and functioning bath drainNice looking and functioning bath drain

With the right tools, this is a five minute install. You need what I believe. They call a dog Bone wrench to remove the old drain and tighten this one down. Super easy. It looks nice, functions great, and the hair catching trap is a nice touch. Even though I end up cleaning it way more than I would like. Why do humans shed so much? It’s crazy. But it’s better than it all going down the drain and creating some catastrophic clog. The fit was great but make sure it is the right size for your drain. There are many out there. The opening and closing mechanism seems solid and fit for purpose.

Elegant, Functional, and Thoughtfully Designed

[Color: Matte Black]
One of my favorite features is the built-in hair and jewelry catcher. It honestly makes me feel much more secure knowing that if I accidentally dropped an earring, ring, or another small piece of jewelry in the shower, it wouldn’t immediately disappear down the drain and be lost forever.I also really like the easy push to close and push to open design. There’s no need to constantly twist and turn the drain to operate it. All you have to do is push it down to close it and push it again to open it. I even found that it could be operated with your foot, which is a great feature because it saves you from having to bend down to open or close the drain. The matte finish looks elegant and modern and gives the bathtub area a nice upgraded appearance. It has a clean, high-end look without being overly flashy.I was also impressed with how well it was protected during shipping. The top was covered with protective plastic, and when I opened the package and removed it, the drain was completely free of scratches, marks, or flaws.Once pushed closed the drain sealed perfectly and held the water. The assembly is light weight but is made out of durable materials. It combines a beautiful finish with practical features that actually make everyday use easier. The jewelry catcher, simple push mechanism, and sturdy brass construction make this feel like a thoughtful upgrade rather than just a basic drain.

Highly recommend!!!Highly recommend!!!

[Color: Matte Black, Color: Matte Black]
My previous tub drain had a weak rubber seal, and the water would slowly leak out every time I took a bath, which was incredibly frustrating. This drain completely solved that problem. The gasket and pop-up mechanism create a flawless, 100% watertight seal. No more topping off the hot water every 10 minutes! The mechanism feels heavy-duty, and the Matte Black finish looks incredibly premium. If you're tired of leaky stoppers, this is the exact upgrade you need.

Good drain, especially if you shed like a house cat

[Color: Matte Black]
I got this for a freestanding tub because the drain is one of those boring little parts you don’t think about until it starts annoying you. Hair, dropped jewelry, slow draining water, all the bathroom nonsense. I wanted something that looked decent with matte black fixtures but also wasn’t just a plain stopper. The black finish looked good when I pulled it out of the box. Not shiny black, more of that softer matte look. I will say, with black bathroom hardware, I already know water spots are going to happen if you ignore it. That’s just the deal. So I’ve been wiping it down when I remember, which is maybe 70% of the time if I’m being generous. It feels heavier than the cheap drain pieces I’ve handled before, not crazy heavy, but enough that it didn’t feel like flimsy junk. The catcher basket is the main reason I like it. Hair actually has somewhere to go before it disappears into the drain and becomes a future problem. I pulled the basket out after using the tub and, yep, it had caught some hair. Gross but satisfying in that “glad that’s not in the pipe” kind of way. It rinsed out pretty easily, although pulling hair out of any drain basket is never going to be a glamorous little spa moment. The pop-up part worked fine for me. Push down, it closes. Push again, it opens. I don’t need my tub drain to have a personality, I just need it to not fight me. It didn’t feel loose or wobbly once it was in place, and the basket came out without me needing to dig at it with fingernails or find some tiny tool I would definately lose. The valuables catcher is a smart idea too. I haven’t dropped a ring or earring in there, thankfully, but I like knowing there’s a better chance of catching something small before it vanishes into plumbing jail. That’s the kind of feature you probly won’t care about until the exact second you really, really care.Installation depends on your tub setup, so measure first. “Fits most” is nice until your drain kit decides to be special. Mine worked, but I’d still double-check before ordering because plumbing parts have a way of turning a 10 minute job into a Home Depot trip.So far it looks nice, catches hair, and is easy enough to clean. Not exciting, because it’s a drain, but it’s definately better than the basic one it replaced.
