I have been using these over-the-door hooks for a couple of weeks, and they have been a simple and convenient way to add some extra hanging space without drilling holes or installing permanent hardware.They slide over the top of the door easily and feel sturdy once in place. The metal construction has a solid feel and handles the clothing, towels, bags, and other everyday items I have hung from them without bending or feeling flimsy. I also like the longer design because it brings the hooks down to a more convenient height rather than leaving everything right at the top of the door.The part that fits over the door is deeper than the thickness of my doors, so there is some extra space rather than a perfectly snug fit. Fortunately, the padding helps compensate for the difference and keeps the hooks from moving around too much during normal use. It also creates a softer contact point between the metal and the door, which I appreciate since I do not want the hooks scratching or marking the finish.My doors have continued to open and close normally with the hooks installed, and installation obviously could not be much easier since they simply slip into place. They are also easy to move to another door whenever needed.After a couple of weeks, they have remained secure and useful. I would just recommend checking the thickness of your doors against the dimensions before ordering if you specifically want a very tight fit. Even though they are a little deeper than my doors, the padding has made the extra clearance relatively minor in everyday use.

The 2 pack of hooks is cost effective. The hooks are versatile. They can also be used for dog leashes or harnesses and hats.  The hooks can be used with a hanger on them.  They can be used on the back of a closet door instead of the outside. In a bathroom the hooks can be hung on the back of the door for robes or towels.

These over-the-door hooks arrived in a plain box. Unfortunately they don’t fit my doors - mine are under the 1¾" thickness these are designed for. That’s on me.They’re very well made with a flawless matte finish. The insides of the hooks have protective sponge pads that extend ¼" from the end of the hook and ½" up from the bottom. The metal itself is a little over 1 mm thick; with the sponge backing the total clearance needed is about 3 mm. If the hooks aren’t sitting snug, the unprotected bottom edge can tilt forward and contact the door. For a proper fit, your door should be at or near 47mm (the inside measurement between the sponge pads).Build quality is excellent - all edges are rounded and everything feels solid. On a door of the right thickness these will be an excellent, rust-free addition.

These over-the-door hooks are really sturdy and feel like they’re built to last. They’re designed for 1-3/4” thick doors, so on an average interior door, there’s a little more space than I expected. That’s not a knock against the product since the measurements are clearly listed—I just didn’t think to measure my door because I assumed most interior doors were pretty much the same thickness.The extra room doesn’t really affect how they work, although the hook can rattle a little against the door when you’re taking something off of it.I also like that there’s no drilling or installation required, and I can easily move them to another door if I need to. For the price, getting two sturdy hooks seems reasonable, especially since the stainless steel construction should hold up for a long time.They’re a simple, sturdy solution if you have a door that fits the listed measurements.

These are really handy hooks, and I like how versatile they are. They fit perfectly over the interior doors in my home, and I think they'd work on just about any standard door without a problem. I don't personally plan to use mine in the shower, but it's nice knowing they could be used in a damp environment if needed.
