Weather Stripping Door Seal

My dear doggos scratch at the door when they want to come in. That isn't going to stop - and they rip the weather stripping up when they do it! I have replaced this door weather stripping SO many times, so I thought I'd try this instead. I only put it where the other had been destroyed, and I put two lines next to each other for some extra protection against bugs :) So far it is working great! It was super easy to install and is holding up well. With 13 ft in this roll, this is a much cheaper option than replacing the entire thing each time :D I can just do this section over and over again if they end up messing it up. Much easier fix!!

This weather stripping exceeded my expectations. The adhesive is very strong, installation was quick, and it created a tight seal immediately. It made a noticeable difference by blocking drafts, reducing outside noise, and keeping dust from coming through the gaps around my door.The foam is dense but compresses nicely, creating a snug seal without making the door difficult to close. I'm going to have to get more! We needed a solution for our camper doors to keep the rain out and this seems to be doing the trick!Pros:> Thickness - the 3/4" thickness of this seems to be just the right size for our camper doors to keep out the weather but also be able to shut with no issue.> Adhesive - so far so good with sticking to the aluminum trim we have around our doors on our camper. We even did a test piece to see how hard it would be to remove. The test proved its ability to adhere quickly. It was fairly easy to remove with my fingernails but I had to work at it. I bet once this has had a lot of time in the sun and heat, you would need a razor blade or fine knife to remove it.Cons:> Not really a con, just a note, it does squish down a lot. It works with this application we're using it for, but know that going in. If you need it to stay thick, this isn't the product you want to get.I think this is going to work so well, I'm going to need to get more! It is a good value for the money, so no big strain on the pocketbook to get another 13' roll.

The black color blends in nicely, and the flexible rubber creates a good seal without making the door difficult to open or close. It's an inexpensive upgrade that really improved the comfort of my home. I already bought more for my other doors.

Very nice product, but not as thick as I expected.I have a back door that faces the water, and even though it is a " tight seal" air always seems to get in when the wind picks up in the winter.This is a great value as you receive more than enough to do the bottom and side of the door.It does alleviate the wind and it is a very high quality product.I was just expecting it to be thicker, but that said it definitely does the job well of keeping out any air, and making the door weather resistant.It was easy to apply and did stay on the frame well.Great product.

Just what I needed to create seals around my two wooden crawlspace access doors. I'm not an experienced diy'er but this worked well. It's flexible, and strong, but very easy to cut with a box cutter.The adhesive is strong, too. I cleaned the surfaces with a brush, then a rag with plain water. Let it dry overnight. The instructions say to warm the strip up with a hairdryer, to be sure the glue is activated, but since it's 90° here, I figured I could skip that step. 😆 It was easy to install and created a nice seal. I think this will make a difference this winter, by keeping out the cold, to prevent my pipes from freezing.Overall, I think this is a high-quality, durable item that does what it promises. Not sure it's the best value at $14.99 for 13', but I would definitely order it again.
