This has been perfect for reading in bed at night. I know a lot of people prefer warm lighting, but I absolutely love the bright cool white LED. My eyes seem to think every room needs its own miniature sun, and this is finally bright enough that I'm not straining to read.It was easy to mount, has a clean, modern look, and gives off plenty of light without taking up space on a nightstand. As an unexpected bonus, I no longer have to stumble through the dark trying not to trip over cats on my way to bed. That alone might have made it worth ordering!
