It’s shocking! Carries current like a bossIt’s shocking! Carries current like a boss

It’s working as expected. The 10ft length was perfect for hooking up my generator transfer switch I put in my shop to supplement my shop when I run welders and plasma. I originally ran too small of wire when I built my shop so instead of burying new heavy gauge wire I added a generator switch. This wire was perfect for that and doesn’t heat up a bit and I have ran a CNC plasma table for hours so far. It appears to be made well and equal to other big name brands I have used in the past. I mean it’s a big heavy gauge wire so it’s easy to use as you know how to connect it. Overall it’s a great value for the money. All wire is expensive these days and this was slightly less expensive than others I looked into at the time I ordered. Compatibility was perfect for my panel and switch. Would definitely order again if the need arises.

Hgh quality, heavy duty 3-conductor cable. This NM-B uses stranded (7-core) copper with lots of thick insulation. Obviously it's pretty stiff but it's smoother and easier to handle than some alternatives I've used. Overall the quality is perfectly acceptable and I have no doubt it will hold up just as well as the name brands.

2 wires with ground

[Color: Black, Size: 6AWG/2-10FT]
This cable has the 2 main wires that are the 6 gauge and the ground wire (which appears to be 10 gauge). For some circuits you can use this going to a 50 amp outlet such as a 6-50 outlet (with just 3 prongs on the plug), but for others like the 14-50 (with 4 prongs on the plug) you need a cable with 3 wires and ground (not just 2). So be sure of what you want to connect up before you get the cables. The items being powered are supposed to be using just 240V power (like a central heating system with the real power coming thru the main wires), yet often for things like RV adapters the end use is just 120V power (putting high power flow on the ground wire that's much smaller). If you want to do things like the RV connections, use the 14-50 outlet with bigger wires to handle the neutral flow.

High quality 100% copper wire (not CCA) and rated for higher amperage use.

[Color: Black, Size: 6AWG/2-10FT]
This is quality stranded wire for high amperage connections. It would normally be used for connecting a range, air conditioner, or other 240VAC equipment. This 6 gauge wire can handle up to 55A at least for this ten foot length (check with an electrician or a guide if you need a longer run of wire which is available in this same type). It's the standard two conductor (both hot 120V) with a 10 gauge bare copper ground wire. This is ideal for wiring an EV charger setup that requires higher amperage. It has PVC insulation with a nylon jacket and is rated for a dry location installation.

Thick and good quality.

[Color: Black, Size: 6AWG/2-10FT]
This wire was exactly what I needed for my EV charger install at home. The stranded copper makes routing through tight spaces so much easier than solid wire ever could be. Ten feet was just enough without any waste. It feels durable with a thick jacket that inspires confidence, though the price per foot stings a bit compared to big box stores. The bare ground wire is a nice touch and saved me from having to run separate grounding. I ran it through some pretty tight conduit runs and the flexibility really made a difference here. You can tell this is quality stuff right out of the bag...
