These are so much nicer than the plain black plastic ones that came with our baby grand piano. These caster cups look so nice underneath the piano and add an extra layer of class to an already beautiful instrument. They are the perfect size for the casters on the bottom of a piano. Just large enough for the caster but small enough that the caster is nestled in the center and doesn't have room to roll around/move.The grip on the bottom is quite nice too, it keeps the floor protected and they don't slide around. they work great on hard wood floors and on carpeting. They seem very well made and feel like they're going to last at least as long as the piano will last. Very happy with these and for the money, you can't beat em.

This review is for the 3 PCS Piano Caster Cups, Floor Protectors with Metal Shell & Felt Bottom. These casters are really beautiful and adds class to any piano or music room. I had a set of all black casters that came with our grand piano and they worked well. I saw these and though it would be a nice upgrade and it truly is. They look so much nicer. The only thing that took some getting used to is that they are not as wide as my previous ones. Also, since they are so nice and shiny it really accentuates the fact that our piano's wheels need a good cleaning as the brass wheels look dirty now. Well, it give me another project for the house. These casters are solid and well made. They look great and the piano caster wheels fit perfectly in them. The felt underneath will also protect tile or wood floors. We have carpet, so it does not matter much for us. They are very secure on the floor. I highly recommend these casters.

I’ve owned my beautiful baby grand piano for almost 15 years, and until now never knew that this item existed. In the past, I either used rubber drink coasters on my previous hardwood floor or nothing at all on my current tile floor, so when I saw these actual piano caster cups, I ordered them immediately.These caster cups are absolutely beautiful, rich, and shiny just like my piano. They are the perfect size and depth for holding the wheels , easy to install, and remain perfectly still and in place without any movement on the floor once in place. They give my piano an additional level of elegance as if it is now “fully dressed”.

These caster cups measure about 4” in diameter and ½” high. The base is glossy black. The metal cup insert is brass-colored, matte on the inside where the piano foot rests and shiny on the outside where you can see the trim. Tried these on a 6-foot grand piano that has 1.5” wide rollers on its legs. The rollers fit into the cups comfortably. Sandwiched below the glossy black base is a sturdy felt-like pad. All components seemed like they would hold up to the weight of the piano and strenuous Rachmaninoff playing for decades to come, or even a mild earth tremor, and keep the piano in place.

Difficult to provide a rating as they have not yet been utilized. They appear to be exactly what will be needed to hold the weight of my piano and protect the floor.

This is a set of three cups for the wheels at the base of a grand or baby grand piano. If you think about the geometry, the wheels are placing their weight on a quite narrow strip equivalent to the width of each wheel. This concentrates a lot of pressure on the floor and can damage it pretty easily. These cups should help prevent that.They are a black material (some resin or plastic I believe) with a felt base on the bottom. The base feels like it has a hole in the center, so that part is effectively a thick ring. On the top are brass colored metal cups for the wheels to rest in. Obviously the piano needs to be lifted to place them underneath and I find it fairly easy to go on all fours underneath it and push it up with my back. Slide one of the cups in place and you're good. This should also help keep the piano in place as the wheels are restricted. I'm pleased with them!

Put these under casters for small but heavy upright piano. With these in place, I was able to slide into place on my newly refinished hardwood floors
