We have a cabin that we use occasionally and also lend to friends and family when they want to spend a few days in the countryside. Since we wanted to keep certain personal items private, we needed to secure the closet where we store them. To solve this, I installed a floor-anchor bolt on one door and this three-digit combination lock for sliding doors on the other; the black finish matches the closet handles well and features a durable coating that doesn't seem prone to chipping easily. The zinc alloy structure feels solid and metallic, conveying sturdiness even though we adapted it for a type of closet different from typical commercial applications. One of the lock's greatest strengths is its mounting flexibility, as it allows for installation at both 90-degree and 180-degree angles, working seamlessly whether the door opens to the left or the right. This makes it adaptable to almost any sliding door, cabinet, or garage setup. On the other hand, setting the three-digit code for keyless operation requires some patience. The process involves inserting a pin and applying considerable force to change the code, as it isn't entirely clear when the internal mechanism engages. When turning the selector dials, you need to press firmly until you feel slight resistance in the discs, indicating that the pin has locked in to register the new combination.

It's a really cool lock, and perfect for an indoor locker, pantry, cupboard, or closet door, folding doors. I'm using it on a closet door, for when too many people are visiting, it keeps people out. The only issue that I have found with this is the very small numbers on the combination. it's 3 dials, but the numbers are very small for my eyes to read, so it takes some peering, and most definitely a light shining on it to figure it out. So I'm not expecting to have to rush to open this lock, it just takes maybe a flashlight or reading glasses. If you have great eyes, then your fine. You know your old when you can't see numbers the size as 1/3rd a grain of rice.I do think this is a decent and unique lock though, one that you can't just find at a hardware store. So I think it's worth the cost, especially on a deal. I'd say 10 to 15 dollars is totally reasonable. The lock is very sturdy, strong, and once you have the screws in the wall, or whatever, it is solid and would be impossible to open without some serious damage. The turn dial is smooth and seems very reliable, it locks into place and has a lip that fits over the metal part so it can't be slid out or jerked loose.

I installed the sliding barn door lock on a closet door, and it made the space feel more secure without needing a separate key. The 3-digit password design is convenient because I do not have to worry about losing keys, and changing or entering the code is simple after reading the instructions. The zinc alloy body feels sturdy in the hand, and it works well for a pantry, cupboard, bathroom, or outdoor closet door. I like that it can be used for different angles, so placement is more flexible depending on the door setup. Installation took a little measuring to line everything up correctly, but after it was mounted, the latch closed smoothly and held well. It is a practical small lock for places where I want basic privacy or extra control without making the door setup complicated.

We are using this for one of our outbuildings that needed a lock. I like that the lock on this is included in the hardware and that it is a sliding barn door lock. It's a great deterrent for some people that have been out in our area stealing stuff. It did come with screws to mount the door lock and even just having this on our shed, I feel more at ease now. I love that I don't have to have a key to open it, as I tend to lose keys.

I got this sliding barn door lock because I wanted something simple, secure, and keyless for a couple of doors that don’t need a full deadbolt. The 3‑digit password setup works exactly the way it should, easy to set, easy to change, and no fumbling for keys. The zinc alloy body feels solid in your hand and once mounted it sits tight without any wobble. The 90/180‑degree rotation options are actually useful. On one door I needed a straight slide‑over latch, and on another I needed the swing‑over style because of the trim. Both positions lock cleanly, and the motion is smooth. The white finish looks clean and blends in well with lighter doors and cabinets. Installation is straightforward with the included templets. The screws bite well, and the lock stays aligned even with frequent use. I’ve used it on a pantry door, and it’s holding up fine, no sticking, and the numbers haven’t faded. It’s not meant to be heavy‑duty security, but it’s perfect for keeping kids out of certain areas, securing a bathroom or closet, or adding a little extra privacy without dealing with keys. It’s a sturdy little lock with a reliable combination mechanism and flexible mounting angles. For small doors, cabinets, fences, or closets, it does exactly what it promises.

This sliding barn door lock turned out to be exactly what my backyard storage cupboard needed, and honestly, I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate keyless security until now.I’m currently in full gardening mode, planting fruit trees in pots and collecting what feels like an endless inventory of extra pots, potting soil, seeds, tools, and all the little essentials that somehow multiply overnight. Having all of that stored outside meant I wanted something secure but convenient, and this lock checked both boxes. The first thing I noticed was the build quality. The zinc alloy construction feels solid and durable, not flimsy, and the white finish gives it a clean, polished look that actually made my little storage cupboard look… dare I say… fancy. Functional hardware with style points is always a win.Setting the 3-digit combination was simple, and not having to keep track of keys is a huge advantage - because let’s be honest, garden gloves and tiny keys are not friends. The latch flips smoothly, locks securely, and the 90/180-degree installation flexibility makes it adaptable for different door setups.Best of all, my gardening supplies stay protected, organized, and easily accessible.
